Buyer Beware
I bought a car from Barry at Atlanta Car Exchange earlier this year. I would advise anyone considering a vehicle purchase run away from Barry as fast as possible, and to find another seller. He is the classic 'used-car salesman' in that he is a smooth talker and comes across as genuine, but that is all a facade.
When I made my purchase from him, the good price that I thought I was getting was nullified by the hidden repair costs I ended up having to pay. Despite his assurances that the car was in mint condition, trust should never enter the equation when dealing with salesmen like Barry. If you are set on buying a car from Atlanta Car Exchange, get every last option and piece of equipment down in writing before signing the 'As-Is' documentation.
This was my first experience in buying a used car and I learned a lot through this experience, the hard way. Next time around I will be much better prepared. But maybe I should show my appreciation to Barry for being such a great teacher. Thanks Barry!
