Our Old Wood Furniture - the green people are saying recycled furniture as an environmentally friendly alternative for the home, we wondered how it would look. We are taking reclaimed wood from old homes, industrial buildings and recycled pallets. We thought this furniture would end up making our home looking like a warehouse.
So, we started looking around websites with recycled furniture. I have to declare that I was pleasantly surprised with what I came across. I discovered companies using superior standard rescued lumber, which it turns out, is highly sought by scores of homebuilders, and methods of refinishing that are well aware and environmentally thoughtful.
I discovered that we are in a small group of the woodworkers in business that are high-caliber people who took their passion for the planet to the next resourceful level, creating the old looking furniture we love in a green, sustainable way.
