This program teaches you how to draw and paint at an incredibly high level. I have been a part of the class for the past 6 years, I've seen people like myself with little art experience paint grow into highly talented artists. I wish I had found this class earlier in my adult life. If you have the desire to be an artist but have never pursued it, this is the class for you.

I am a lawyer, but I always wanted to take a serious art class. Unfortunately, most "art classes" are just social gatherings where a group of people drink wine and copy a silly painting over the span of a couple hours. Chris di Domizio is an extraordinary teacher. He can develop beginners with no experience, but he also has trained some of the greatest painters in the country. I am one of those beginners, and I am able to learn at my own speed. Don't think twice about joining the class. Joining this community is one of the best decisions I ever made.

Ever dreamed of being a painter but convinced you didn't have the talent? That was my story, but in finding Chris's class I struck gold. Chris gives you the "how, why, and what happens when you do" solution to your artistic questions. He leads by example - and the class results are truly outstanding. I started a year ago as a complete beginner and visibly improving week by week. It has been a fantastic experience.

For the past 6 months, I have been driving to Atlanta from Athens to take Chris diDomizio's class. I am an experienced artist and have taken many art courses, but none have equaled Chris'. He has a painting technique that is unequaled. With his instruction, I am confident I will become the best artist that I can be. Nothing less could motivate me to make that drive, especially with the University of Georgia Art School in my back yard.

You will learn lessons about art that no one else teaches. He is a brilliant artist and a great teacher. He always knows what I need as a student and what to tell me to work on to move to the next level.

I'm new to drawing and painting and am happy to recommend diDAC to artists of any level. There is plenty of instruction (from drawing to painting), and just enough "hands-off" to let your individuality shine. I was looking for a school with a classical approach to 'art' instruction and am very pleased with my progress so far. I've never taken formal art classes, so I want to learn it the "right" way. Additionally, Chris offers many enrichment workshops, so that students may focus more closely on certain aspects of painting and color theory. It is multi-level and multi-faceted course work. I'm not local to Sandy Springs, but feel the commute is well worth the education I've received so far. I'm looking forward to continuing thru the program.
When I was a teenager I dreamed of living in Paris and studying art. My art dreams got left behind and I became a lawyer. I found Chris' art class after I retired from the law and I feel like I am in Paris when I am in class. Chris teaches in the classical way but with lots of heart.
Look no further for an art class. Beats ANY in Atlanta. Chris's method of teaching the "MASTER's" art methods are outstanding and unique. Learn the rules before you break them so you can turn "junk Art" into real ART. Regardless of your preferred medium. Chris will take you to the highest level if you are willing to work. Chris has won many awards for his work! Recently from the Portrait Society of Atlanta. Dylan, a co-teacher, will teach you watercolor by the same methods and will astound you by his work and methods. Stop now and apply for a spot in class.
I have taken art classes all over Atlanta. Chris has taught me techniques, tools and a touch that have helped me execute at a high level. I love watching the other artists in class. Their work is incredible. This is THE art studio in Atlanta!
Chris provides the same high quality instruction students receive at any fine art educational institution. I am extremely pleased with the progress I have made in his class over the past 1.5 years. I have seen how both the drawing and oil painting program exercises have improved my artwork, as I have been able to translate the technical skills I've learned to my personal projects. Chris emphasizes classical training but also encourages to develop their own artistic voice.
I have been a member of this studio for several years and am still learning new techniques, theories and approaches to creating art. The members of the studio are inspiring and Chris is an amazing instructor. I would recommend the class to beginners and experienced artists.
I couldn't believe that I would find a place like Chris's art center! I searched for a art place to learn artist quality art, in a "master's way". Chris's Art center is a "the place" I wanted to be an artist when I was a teenager. Didn't happen. Now, when life is more settled with my own profession I found this art center. I couldn't be happier. I look forward to go to my class. You will learn drawing, color theories, history, different medium of art and many more. everything is there, you just have to take it in you.
If you want a comprehensive, step by step approach to drawing and painting, this is it. Chris is passionate about teaching, and shares is many years of knowledge and experience freely. He is an extraordinarily gifted artist, and brings his wealth of knowledge and information to his students. The studio atmosphere is friendly, and encouraging and all levels work at their own pace, novices and professionals side by side. All are seeking to improve their skill, and Chris orchestrates the possibility though individual guidance during the class and class talks. I came to the class from the recommendation of a professional artist, and a designer. Yes, I was initially intimidated, but I wanted to paint. I have been a student for 2.5 years, and wish I could be in class every day - Chris is inspiring, imaginative, creative, and a wonderful teacher
I began Chris' class with absolutely no background in art, not even an art class in high school. In his class, I learned how to draw and about composition, color theory and nearly every oil painting technique. The class contains students at every skill level from beginner to advanced. Everyone is supportive and will help as you work your way through the exercises. Let's be clear here. I do not have a natural talent for art. But you work at your own pace through a series of exercises. You can start with drawing or jump into painting. I began drawing first and cannot believe the progress I made; neither can my friends and family. Chris is passionate about teaching. He says that everyone will succeed in his program, and they do.
