We used to love Nancy G's and dined there frequently. We really liked supporting a local, non-chain restaurant and the food, value and atmosphere were very good. It also is marketed as a kid-friendly restaurant which we are always looking for. The last few times we have been, however, the service has been SOOO slow and it just seems to be going downhill. We actually went this past Sunday with two small toddlers and sat for well over 30 minutes. When we inquired about our food, we were told it would be another 10 to 15 minutes (and there was nothing fancy or out of the ordinary about our order). I can understand that wait time if we had walked in when there was a wait for a table or when it was really crowded but we were seated immediately and there were plenty of open tables when we arrived. After waiting awhile, we also noted that the large party next to us received their food in 3 different parts (with about a 10 minute lag between two of them). We eventually gave up on getting our food and received hardly an apology from the owner, despite the fact that we have been regulars in the past. Sadly, we are on the lookout for another local restaurant to frequent!!

My wife and I along with two dear friends had a great evening this week at Nancy G's. We could not have enjoyed it more. Great food, service and value. Our server Marge was fabulous. We will definitely return!

We met friends here for dinner, and we couldn't have been more pleased. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a warm, welcome feeling and a place we will frequent. Thank you, Nancy G., for everything!

A group of friends from college met here for dinner and they gave us the back room so we could visit. The food was great and the service was attentive. We are planning another reunion there again this month! Would recommend it to anyone!

This is a great place to hang out on the deck. The food is ok, nothing great. It is kind of expensive on a college budget. The lady who owns the place is very nice.

My boyfriend and I went on a lovely Thursday afternoon with our 2 small dogs to sit on the porch. I read on AJC that this was great dog-friendly place. It was Yuck! The food was undercooked and terribly unimpressive. I could have done a better job at home. We were the ONLY people on the porch but were still seated next to the dumpsters. Also, the waitress could have at least pretended to like dogs, it would have helped her tip. Lastly, we were the youngest patrons there by 30yrs.

I wish I could say that nancy g's was better than average. After a few visits, I can't say that we've been overly impressed. While the food is tasty, it's a little pricey for what you get and there's just something missing from the ambience and service. I guess we've gone on the wrong nights or times (Fri & Sat?) because we've never seen it packed. We'll keep trying because it's in the neighborhood, but we'd probably stick to hamburgers/sandwiches because they seem to be a better value.

Nancy G's has become my favorite restaurant. We were greeted warmly, made to feel special...yet at home, and the food was terrific. If you haven't been there yet, you should go!

I took my children and some guests to Nancy G's last Sunday for brunch. We had a wonderful meal, and enjoyed some of the new menu items. We particularly liked the amaretto butter for the french toast, but everything we had was great. Highly recommend Nancy G's!

Maybe we were there on a bad night but the service was terrible (and they weren't very busy), the menu was ok and our food was only average. I probably won't go back.
