I have seen the owner for years and paid out the nose. The last time I went this week 6/30 I was to have a perm and he straightened my hair! He was walking around, left stuff on too long and blamed my hair on it. He charged me $150 and said he would do it again. No, not frying it again and he charged $65 for a simple cut!! OVERCHARGING. He reimbursed me for the perm, but I am going for it all. He just wants money. He's too expensive. I can find someone else for less. A cut I can get for $12. NOT IN THESE ECONOMIC TIMES!! $65? Women get blasted!

Mounir (the owner) cut my hair 5/5/2010 and didn't stick around to see what it looked like dry. It looked awful; there was a huge chunk missing from the right side. The stylist tried her best to fix it and ended up apologizing, saying that Mounir had left and that she wasn't licensed to cut hair or else she would try to fix it. I called and wrote Mounir to express my distress and seek a reimbursement for the cut, but he won't return my call (yes, I paid the poor stylist for the cut - it wasn't her fault). The worst part is that Mounir knew I was getting my hair cut to go to my grandfather's funeral the next day. It was a terrible experience: Most business owners would at least call/email/write back to an upset customer. It's taken three cuts (A Natural Buzz salon is GREAT!) to get my hair halfway decent again.

I've tried for years to find a salon in Atlanta that knows how to cut my hair and give great service and this is the place. Meg is awesome, she really listens to what you want and also adds her own ideas to come up with a great style. I would recommend this place to anyone I know.

I recently switched salons and couldn't be happier. Meg cuts my hair and Laura does my brows and I've never been happier. I always walk out of the salon looking good and I get so many compliments! Love it!

I was a new customer at Ohla-la and just wanted a haircut. My hair is VERY straight so I called to ask "who was the best". The receptionist told me that Meg was avail. and was "great!" Meg started my long 2 hour haircut and blow dry. I should have know something was up when she dried my hair with the ends heavily rolled to try to disguise the ridiculously choppy layers. I looked like tiers on a wedding cake! TERRIBLE. THEN I realized that Meg was answering phones while I was there. SHE was the receptionist!!! I had to get my hair "fixed" by another salon. I will NEVER go back! Beware of the rave reviews about Meg!

Wow. Nicely played here, with the polite service and the calming atmosphere. They really take care of you there, from the time you are escorted from the dressing room, to the relaxation library, to your service. The treatments themselves were amazing! I got a body scrub and a massage and it felt like heaven. The massage therapist was very calm and did not rush me at all, which gave me the perception that the treatment was longer than expected. She allowed me to fully relax my body and mind.

I went in for my regular haircut with Meg (who is beyond awesome) and was complaining about pressure i had in my sinuses. She excused herself and came back with the massage therapist, Salina. After talking to her for maybe a minute I decided not even to wait for my hair to be styled, and went to lay on her bed. She was amazing. She took all of the pressure from my head and worked on the kinks in my neck. She used stones, too!! It was the first time I've ever had anything like that done. Hot stones and cold stones. I am more than impressed with that girl's hands, and the cold stones on my face were so fricking cool!! I can not WAIT to get my next massage. Except this time, I think I will opt for the whole thing, rather than just my face and neck. I think I've found my new haven. Thanks so much!!

I had my hair cut and styled on Saturday by Meg, and it was wonderful. I got so many compliments when I went out on Saturday that I got tired of saying thanks. She offered me a free paraffin treatment, and her head and neck massage was stellar - so I left feeling like a million bucks. I highly recommend Meg at Oh! La La.

"My lashes look beautiful and I am getting lots of compliments on them. Oh la la - . I have to brag about this, I feel like a star. Fluttery, Dark, Extra Long and they last almost a month before I go for a touch up. False lashes using a new high tech glue but they look so natural. Laura is an artist she matched 3 different sizes for me, they look perfect. Can't tell which ones are mine. They make my eyes look huge, and they don't affect my natural lashes at all. The process to attach individual lashes took about 2 hours. I take care of them and go back for a touch-up after three weeks (some lashes may fall out), they last about 3 1/2 months. Laura is the specialist. Love her. She also tint, waxed and shape my eyebrows to frame my eyes better. My own lashes are blond and short. So this is great for me I look like a star. A happy one.

oh!la-la salon.spa is just O.K I fell in love with The Posh Spot the moment I saw it. The magnificent decor at The Posh Spot serves as a proper backdrop to its equally delightful treatments. This is a quiet sanctuary of charming smells, soft lighting and soothing music. The entire experience is restful and I start to relax as soon as I enter the spa.

I have been seeing Mounir for my hair since he had a salon in the Northlake area. I've watched other salons come and go and am happy to see that he is still around. He brings in great colorists and therapists. (I think they are attracted to the positive feeling of the place). I can't recommend these guys enough and will be giving gift cards for the holidays. Whenever I'm having a blah day, I schedule an appointment and look forward to a great experience time after time. Not only are Mounir and Meha meticulous with my hair but I've also gotten THE BEST deep-tissue massage of my life from Selina and also Love Laura's facials. Okay, I'm rambling...go there! They're awesome.

I have lived in Decatur for almost 10 years and tried 4 other salons before Oh! La-La. At other places, I've often felt as though the stylists were more into their image than mine. That's definitely not the case with Mounir and his team. I always leave feeling as though I've gotten a fabulous cut and color and get plenty of compliments to prove it! Whenever I have visitors in town, I always bring them in for a massage or a facial. If you are looking to avoid a "cookie-cutter" spa experience and to be treated like family, Oh! La-La is your place.
