Ms. Cee should sue you for your lies but she was too much a Christian. You forgot everything at this center is visual and audio recorded. I am not senile and Ms Cee is not a thief. She was a very good Director and would not allow you to use the center without paying for the service. You were never charged for any services you did not use. However, you tried many times to use services you did not want to pay for. After repeated altercations with you, the center decided not to allow you to use the center. Consequently, this review.

Debbie F., 12/07/2014Edit First and foremost this daycare needs a major renovation starting with the director Ms. Cee. First she is the nastiest, manipulative thief I have ever met in my life. Poor Micki owns the place and allows this menace to dictate parents and trick them out of money. While the owner was away on business, Ms. Cee began over charging me on my tuition. Granted I pay late and with cash, but she would give me an outrageous amount over the phone and then when I questioned her about it she threatened to throw my son out! Not to mention how she gossips betweem my son's father and I. Ms. Cee also discloses personal information about the staff to parents and other staff members. The owner seems to be senile or oblivious to the fact that the Ms. Cee is stealing right under her nose. Here is a bit of advice Ms. Slivers: " Pay close attention to your deposit drawer and your paperwork. The Grinch who Stole Christmas works for YOU!"

my son has been in attendance since 6 weeks. It was extremely hard at first. No matter how many times I would stop in to see him during the day, the teachers and staff were very welcoming and understanding. They practice excellent sanitation routine and I receive a report every day regarding my sons meals, restroom activity, and educational practices from that day. The school was also very helpful and understanding when majority of the parents, including myself were stuck on the roads from the recent snow/ice storm.

My daughter has been very happy at this facility. The staff is exceptional, and her educational deveopment has been superb. There are very few facilities that put so much care into the education and nurturing of their children.

After moving to Atlanta, I did my research of child care centers. Child's Life Academy is the cleanest, best staffed center in town. The cleanliness of the facility is not an issue at all. My child is ahead in academics because of the educational programs there and they have received very high scores on all of their inspections. Sadly, many parents do not want to pay late fees or food fees when their child eats an extra meal because they stayed longer. The owner and directors have never over charged me for something I did not receive in service. I HATE THAT THOSE WHO WERE UNHAPPY BECAUSE THEY DID NOT GET SOMETHING FOR FREE TRIED TO RUIN A GREAT CHRISTIAN BASED SCHOOL THAT MY CHILD AND EVERY OTHER CHILD LOVES!!!!!

My son has attended Child's Life Academy since he was only a few months old. He's now 3 ½. I've seen a number of changes at the school in that time, all of them for the better. The staff is stable and well trained. The facility has gone from being more of a daycare, to a true place of learning, striving to meet or exceed state educational standards. Perhaps just as important, they are incredibly compassionate. My child got stuck at the school during a recent snow storm and while I hated to be apart from him for so long, I know he was in the safest place possible. Whenever my child expresses a concern, I talked to staff and they immediately work to address it. I chose the school initially because of its flexibility in hours, but I keep my child there year later, because of its people.

iluvatl - Not Quality Facility. I have seen your review for a long time but you left out the truth. Before you enrolled your child, you received the Policies and Procedures of the center which clearly stated: (1) what your weekly tuition included(2) other services that were available at an additional charge (3)required deposits and these deposits were totally refundable if a 2 weeks notice to withdraw was received (4) late fees if tuition is not paid on time (5)we serve a breakfast snack every morning (6) we do not do outside fieldtrips but have events come to the center. Before you enrolled your child you received and signed you agreed to accept our Policies and Procedures. Also, there are 5 directors at this center, one is always available to answer any questions or solve any problems. Your child was never injured at this center. We have picture day 3 times a year. The students have art and do art projects every week. Your child's teacher had a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is an excellent teacher and is still with us today. The real reason you were dismissed from the center: you were caught photographing students in various classrooms. You were told to stop, you refused, you only left the center when we threatened to call the police. The next day, your child was expelled from the center. Parents: this mom didnot leave voluntarily. For the real truth, please visit our center.

I vistied this school a few days ago after reading a streamline of bad reviews. I thought it was worth giving it a vist to see if the reviews were true to nature. This school was EVERYTHING the reviews read. Ms. Mickie has the school designed to put parents in financial binds. While I was there, there were at least three parents complainting about their totals. I asked alot of questions and shared with them the reviews that I had stubbled upon. The blow the reviews off and said, "that was more of an financial issue with a parent and they made those things up." Ms. Mickey is evil and has no vision for the future of these kids. She is more concerned about how to swiddle parents out of money. FYI, the staff (excuding teachers) have been trained so well, when they issue balances they don't look at you. The worst part about this school is that they are a 24 hour service and do not request shot records. Which means the hourly students are sitting in class with kids that possibly do not have their shots - really aweful. This school has been renamed as the, "Child's Life Academy!" I believe the name was changed to avaiod the bad reviews and name it had established in the Sandy Springs area.

I am not surprised by these reviews. My child attended this school years ago when it was on Roswell Rd and she later transferred to the new location on Hilderbrand. It was at this point that Mickie added "Christian" to the name. Trust me, if you are looking for a "Christian" environment, you won't find it there. My child was having wetting accidents, a result of a medical condition that was "later" taken care of. Mickie had no patience whatsoever. She abruptly dismissed my child from her "Christian" academy. She just couldn't let her brand new "Christian" carpet to become wet by my child. If you love your child, do not send them to this place. Also, if your child is ever pinched by a teacher, please don't let Mickie know, or your child will be dismissed immediately.

My experience with Sandy Springs Christian was terrible. The staff was unprofessional, there is no responsible person at the facility to address concerns and attempt to satisfy the parents. They charge misc. fees, retain a security deposit and have a high late fee. My child was hurt at the facility I received no incident report while no one knew what happened. My daughter did not receive any first aid treatment from the staff for her injuries. They do not feed the children breakfast, the staff is constantly changing except for maybe two people. The director never returns your calls and is never at the location. After witnessing children being left unattended the abruptly discharged my child without notice. My child never went on a field trip, brought home a holiday card of project, never had a picture day and NEVER LEARNED A THING(not even the alphabet). DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS FACILITY.

This is a beautiful daycare center with caring teachers and convenient hours and location. The director has over 20 years of experience and the staff is well trained and knowledgeable. My child enjoys going to Sandy Springs Christian Academy.

The director is the worst MS.MICKIE.(MARGRETE SILVERS) please look her up. Over priced for the sevices that you get. The kids eat food that they dont even like. They have a high turn over in teachers so when your child get used to someone they are gone. Ms. Micky has no people skills with the parents and the teachers. They are not organized and not clean. The kids are always sick.. I had to bring in my own tissue for my child right along with cleaning supplies. They are always out of stuff. Alot of violation. Dont even know why the center is still open. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CHILD THERE!!!!
