Me and my husband have been researching roof companies and shingles for several months. We had already gotten several estimates and knew what was offered with Gaf-Elk and Owens Corning shingles. This Mexican guy came up to my husband with a Super Roofing flyer and proceeded to offer a free estimate. My husband told him we wanted Gaf-Elk Driftwood shingles and the guy showed him a book that looked like he had glued samples himself in the book. He pointed to a shingle color saying this was the color we wanted but it was obviously not the shingle we knew to be Driftwood. I lot of the samples were the same color. The guy also said he owned 2 companies. I need to find out what the other company is so we never deal with them. I hate liars and swindlers. He gave an estimate without even doing the measurements of the roof. Watch out, people. There are alot of bad businesses that will do substandard work and pass themselves off as legitimate companies. "I'm under my cousin's Business License" is one of the good ones we've heard. Make sure your roofer has the exact shingles you requested and that the packaging is still on the shingles when they are loaded at your home. Do the research!

Contractual agreement differed greatly from initial meeting to actual signing of contract. Demanded full payment prior beginning of job, then requested 91%, then requested 75%. Became loud and demanding when we questioned large down payment prior to completion of job which he said could be complete in one day. Checked in neighborhood and this is not true. Became very angry and condescending. Claimed that he could complete the job in 1 day, yet scheduled to begin the job on a day where the weather report called for 100% chance of rain. Acted as if we owed the work in exchange for him for giving his free estimate and meeting with our insurance adjuster. Final comment was that we thought that we were better than everyone else. Would not recommended. We did not use this company based on his actions and attitude.
