I enjoy working with individuals, problem solving, and thinking creatively. These three points are integral to my work. In order to provide the proper rehabilitative approach for each client, I listen to and assess each individual uniquely and with an open mind. Maintaining this particular perspective requires discipline, patience, and reflection which I feel helps professionally, as well as in my personal effort to maintain balance and mental clarity.
I earned my degree at the Atlanta School of Massage in the dual certicifation program for Neuromuscular and Massage Therapy in 2002. As a Neuromuscular Therapist, I practice a very specialized form of massage therapy. I understand the physiology of the nervous system and its effect on the muscular and skeletal systems. My studies have included: anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, biomechanics, psychology, strengthening and conditioning, injury assessment, as well as many massage techniques including: Acupressure, Tui Na, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Lymph Drainage, Myofascial Release, Swedish, Thai, and Trigger Point Release.
Please be advised: I schedule appointments 30 minutes apart. If you are more than 15 minutes late, this will decrease my availability for your appointment. If you are going to be 30 minutes late, please call to reschedule.
Rates:
1 hour of Deep Tissue is $75, 90 minutes is $105
Trigger Point Therapy--I recommend 90 minutes--which is $105
Pre-natal Massage is $75 for 1 hour
Thai Massage is $80 for 1 hour
Reiki sessions are $85
Gift certificates are always available upon request.
I will customize the appointment to suit your needs. I generally blend techniques as needed.
