Our company was established in 2001 by Glenn Igler. Glenn has a B.S. Degree from Penn State University in Housing Administration and after over fifteen years in Residential and Commercial Real Estate, including management of over 1400 apartments and 200 single family homes, recognize the shortage of competent, reliable, residential contractors. Our mission is to provide the home owner with a one stop source for their on-going home repair and maintenance needs. Just like your regular doctor, who is a general practitioner, we can handle 90% or your everyday maintenance needs, thus saving you the high cost of a specialist when it isn?t needed. If after analysis, we find that the problem requires a specialist, or special licensing, we will be happy to refer you to a reputable company. Our pricing is very reasonable and may be quoted by project or hourly. All pressure washing, gutter guard installation, deck restoration, gutter cleaning, wood or tile installation, and roof stain removal jobs are priced by project and in some cases, may be quoted over the phone if you can provide some basic square footage figures. In the areas of repair and maintenance, the only thing that we have found to be certain, is that something will be unexpected. No one really knows if the toilet is leaking because of a faulty wax seal, loose bolts, or a broken floor flange until they get into the job. For that reason, if you ask for a set price, we must always figure the worst case will occur in determining the estimate. It?s always the customer?s choice, but we advise that you go with an hourly rate, which will normally save you a good bit of money. In order to keep our prices as low as possible, we do have a small charge of $35 for on-site estimates, but this cost is deducted from your job cost when we are chosen to do the work. We have found that this allows us to keep our prices lower by eliminating a tremendous amount of wasted time due to other contractor?s price shopping or looking for us to give free advice. We will always beat any other reputable contractor?s written estimate. For projects, such as to-do lists or correcting home inspector deficiency reports, we do work by the half a day or full day at a lower rate. The bottom line is that we want to be your trusted handyman. Our average jobs are small, and it is only by building a repeat and referral business with happy customers that we will remain successful in the long term. We want every customer to be happy and satisfied and we will do whatever it takes to make that happen.
