We all have problems. How do you handle the problems in your life? Is it wiser to submit yourself to the process of self-examination or to deny, ignore, or run away from your problems?

Individual Counseling
Individual counseling or therapy is meeting one on one with a person who has been professionally trained to provide guidance in resolving personal conflicts and emotional issues. I assist men and women in figuring out how to maximize their full potential. I have experience working with individuals in the following areas: depression, anxiety, traumas, relationship issues, divorce recovery, codependency, and life management issues.
Group Counseling
Group counseling is a form of therapy in which 5-8 people come together to express their problems, feelings, thoughts and ideas. Groups can focus on interpersonal relationships and can help people learn how to get along better with others. Groups can also be a support for people in specific challenges; knowing they are not the only ones who are experiencing this hardship; and can provide for growth and change. Some of the group topics I offer are: depression, anxiety, stress management, assertiveness training, anger management, single women?s groups, and parenting skills. I also offer a group that applies the principles from the book, Telling Yourself the Truth by William Backus.
Training & Education Services
I am available to speak to your organization on a variety of topics. I offer a 6-week course based on the workbook, Learning to Tell Myself the Truth, by William Backus and a 9-week video/discussion course based on the book Boundaries, by Drs. Cloud and Townsend. Both of these courses can be adapted to fit any time-limited schedule. I also offer educational presentations on depression, anxiety and stress management.
