HOW DOES THIS TREATMENT WORK?
Our spinal discs are the FOCAL point in our spines. As they degenerate so does the rest of the spine. As the discs age, they tear, bulge, herniate, dehydrate and flatten. Disc bulges and herniations commonly compress the nerves or spinal cord causing pain and disability. Compressed nerves radiate pain to the buttocks and legs or shoulders and arms. Discs also flatten as they degenerate. As the discs degenerate, the bones enlarge, i.e. become arthritic. As the bones enlarge/become arthritic, less space is available for the nerves and spinal cord. It is a progressive, degenerative, COMPRESSIVE problem. This should be ameliorated with physical, decompression of the spine. That is what we do at Backstrong.
