The Manchester Arms

Stepping inside of this little pub is like taking a trip across the pond. Great atmosphere and excellent service. Food is also very good.

The proprietors of Manchester Arms have managed to create a truly English atmosphere in a family environment reminiscent of Pubs in the United Kingdom. Guinness on-tap as well as a good assortment of ales, ciders, lagers, porters and American beers. The Shepherd's Pie is very authentic - and GOOD, as are the Fish and Chips and "Bangers". You'll want to make this a regular haunt!

I really like this watering hole. I have always been treated friendly and the service is good most of the time.

What a delightful little pub! And in such a great location. I am thrilled to have such a wonderful bar/restaurant located on the south side. The food, especially the fish and chips and the cheeseburger, is amazing! And the bar is even better. The servers are pleasant (which is hugely important), and the atmosphere can't be beat. When weather permits (which is often in GA), sit on the patio, order a round of Boddingtons and relax! My only suggestion to management would be to expand the menu a little, specifically, the appetizer menu, so that there is more to nibble on while enjoying your pint (ale-battered mushrooms, quiche, a cheese/sausage/olive plate, potato boats or cod bites would be perfect additions)! I want to see what else your amazing chefs can do. Definitely a shining star in College Park.
