My company trucks also!
I not only take all my family vehciles to J&L, As owner of my small buisness J&L keeps my company trucks on the road. John the owner, makes a plan of maintenance for the year so I can budget and keep my trucks running. When an employee of mine has a problem with a company truck, I do not hesitate to send them to J & L. Above and beyond...
We moved to Georgia 3 years ago and with 2 kids in college, each with their own car, we undoubtedly had to find a good mechanic and were hoping to find one we could trust. We've had our vehicles serviced by J & L on several occasions and have always been impressed with the service and confident that we're getting a good deal. There are never any surprises when you get the bill. Most recently, my daughter's car broke down in Athens. Rather than risking having it serviced by someone in Athens we didn't know, we chose to have it towed to J&L (47 miles one way). Rather than go into the details, I will just say that John Bounamia truly went out of his way to help us out. I'm glad we didn't risk having it repaired in Athens.

Professionalism & Service says it all about J&L. You can't get better service because John Buonamia will NOT permit it. AND Service is nonpariel; THAT, you can take to the bank.

Good service
I needed repairs made to my 10 year old vehicle. The owner was upfrount and gave me all the information needed to make an informed desision. When dealing with an older vehicle it is always questioned if the repair cost is worth it when the value of the vehicle isnt all the high to start.

Found great local garage
Found J & L through Kudzu based on the great reviews. I wasn't disappointed as I felt they offered great service, seems good quality and good price. One item that I was impressed with was while waiting for my ride the owner walked through, he was about to go on into the shop, but paused and introduced himself and since I had spoken with him on my first call, he remembered me and walked right out to take a look at my vehicle. Nice to find a shop that seems to be able to do about everything. I'll definitely take my truck back to them for my next repair to see if they do as good of a job as this time.

Like having a personal mechanic....
I found J&L Auto through Kudzu as the warranty on my Ford finally expired. I read all the positive reviews and selected them because of it. I'm glad I did. I won't bring my car anywhere else. John and his staff are masters of their trade. Not only do they diagnose quickly and accurately, they are very fair in the pricing. I no longer have that dreadful feeling when I walk into a mechanic. One time they even told me that there was nothing wrong with my car when I was fearing the worst. When has an auto mechanic ever told you that you didn't need work done? I highly recommend J&L Auto for all of your service needs.

A terrific experience!
I was blown away by the professional, courteous and efficient service I received at J & L Automotive. They diagnosed my engine issue and thoroughly explained the problem to me in plain English. In addition to addressing my engine problems, they also managed to procure parts and complete repairs on my malfunctioning power window before closing time. The last time my dealership had my car minor repairs took days because I was just a number . J & L treats their customers like human beings. I'd recommend them to anyone needing repairs or service.

They are definitely worth the drive...
My 93 Eagle was having what sounded like misfiring problems with the engine. I had taken my car to a local automotive shop in Alpharetta. After spending several hundred dollars on cables, plugs and a few other items, I was still having the same problem. A customer I had in Suwanee referred me to J&L Auto. I went over to see if I could schedule an appointment, instead a technician had come out to look at the car and instantly recognized and corrected the problem within 15 minutes. Since it was a quick diagnostic of the problem, they did not charge me as well. I would definitely make the trip from Alpharetta to Suwanee for my automotive needs.

Service review
I have been taking my cars to J&L Automotive since 2001 and have never had a better, more honest and sincere mechanic in my lifetime. I live in the Atlanta area and worked as a contractor in Columbia for a year. I told the owner, John, that the most important he can do for me was to ensure that my car never broke down during my travels …and it never did. I recently went to the dealer where I purchased my latest vehicle and they wanted to change me over $400 for a 30-point checkup. I took their list to J&L who stated that I only needed a few of the items on the dealer’s list completed to stay within warranty. I saved over $300. Wow! That’s a first! I have had numerous situations where I thought that there might have been a problem with my car and on many those occasions, John would tell me that nothing was wrong. He has always fixed any problem resulting from an oversight for no extra charge. I thoroughly trust J&L. I never trusted dealerships or mechanics until I begin taking my automobiles to J&L. Some of my neighbors also trust J&L with their automobiles. I’m not going anywhere else for my automotive repair needs.

Great Job and Saved Me Money
I had an issue with my car's catalytic converter. This is an extremely expensive part. The dealership was not willing to honor the warranty. John did the research and found a way that was cheaper for me to have the car repaired with all new parts. Service was great.
