Excellent Service and Great Follow-up
I requested service for a leak coming from my washer. Mack came out to diagnose and address the problem. He made an additional visit because the leak was a different issue than what he initially thought it was and quickly fixed it. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about the problem and assured me that everything is in working order. Service was quick, but very thorough. I greatly appreciate the attention to detail and highly recommend.

Glad I Did Not Do This Job Myself
For some jobs, it pays to call a professional. I have double sinks in an upstairs bath. Both were clogged up ... meaning there was blockage somewhere the near or below the "T" where they joined. No water would I tried using a plunger, then tried Drano and then used a snake ... all to no avail. I also had installed a new toilet recently and noticed that when I flushed, air would be sucked into the adjacent tub. I figured there was a blockage in the vent pipe near sinks. Since I had never messed with a vent pipe, I decided to call a plumber. Bernard used his electric snake ... but it did not clean out the pipe. He then went into the attic, cut the vent pipe and ran his snake down the pipe. As he was pulling his snake back out of the vent pipe, I heard him say "Oh my Gosh!!" He had pulled up the cause of the blockage - A DEAD, DECOMPOSING SQUIRREL!! I'm a do-it-yourself kind of guy. But this taught me that for some jobs, it pays to get a profesional. Kudos (or is it Kudzu's) to Affordable Plumbing and Bernard. I'll use them from now on.

Quality Workmanship provides peace of mind
I contacted Affordable Plumbers due to the rave reviews that were on Kudzu and they lived up to every word that I read. Mac was the plumber that came to my home; he was early which was wonderful. I told him what my issues and concerns were and even offered some advice on what issues I may incur in the future. Once we got together on pricing and I agreed to have to work completed that day, the job was completed by noon. I was very impressed with his workmanship and the detailed explanation. He did a terrific job on the my plumbing work in my home. I was finally able to get a descent night of sleep. Someone asked me was is worth it and peace of mind has no cost to me. I will refer Affordable Plumbing to anyone who wants a excellent workmanship at a reasonable price.

Fast, Courteous, Affordable Service the Same Day!
We had a sump pump connector problem. Water was gushing all around. We didn't know which plumbing company to use so we looked at Kudzu for reviews and saw all the positive feedback about Affordable Plumbing. What cemented us calling this company was seeing the owner respond to some reviews. Wow! What customer service! So, I called Affordable Plumbing and Kay allowed me to speak directly with Rick, the owner; he quoted me a price and sent service technician Bernard the same day!!! Bernard even called me to confirm his appointment. Bernard was courteous and knowledgeable. I am extremely impressed by the fast turn around time as well as the honesty and caring attitude of Rick and his staff. In fact, I asked Rick for a quote on installing new toilets. We will definitely use this plumbing company again and wholeheartedly recommend it.

Shower leak
I had a shower head leak in my master bathroom. I called around for a plumber and these guys responded right away. They fixed the leak for me and did a called back to see if all was ok. I would use them again.

Awesome~
I had a plumbing emergency and called these guys after having [very annoying] scheduling issues with another company. Affordable Plumbers sent someone out that day who was honest, fast, and gave me a great price. They didn't try to quote a bunch of work that was unnecessary, and everything is working perfectly now. Thanks to the other reviewers on Kudzu, so I knew what I was getting, and thanks to A.P. for doing such a great job. I will definitely be recommending you guys!

Disappointed , but had great reviews
May, 2008 - quoted a reasonable price for a pressure check and repairs to get a gas meter on home. Paid the price quoted, but owner forgot to pull a permit and now wants to charge $250+ because he forgot to pull permit. Very disappointed with service and shocked they didn't know what was required. I am extremely disappointed.

I UNDERSTAND YOUR FRUSTRATION. HOWEVER... #1. You did not approach management to resolve your situation. #2. I own the company and I did not service this customer as he/she implied. Bernard (the plumber who actually did the work)did according to the homeowner's wish. Unfortunately, we can not bear the additional cost for the time and effort involved in permitting the job. And yes we certainly do know better as a company! Understandably, Rick.

Renovation quote
I needed to get a quote on installing some new plumbing in a older home. I checked around and got some good quotes from other plumbing companies but went with this company because they were knowledgeable and informative. They also did a follow up with me to make sure everything went ok.

Very Affordable Prices
I'm a property manager for a very busy establishment. I was having some plumbing problems a customer of mine's refer to Affordable. I called for the initial appointment the same day. The plumber came out and gave us a estimate which was suprisingly it was very reasonable. So its very important that projects go smoothly and dont take extended amount of time.So, I decided to go with these guys because of the professionalism,affordable rates and great customer service.
