Too Many Mistakes; Too Expensive
With UBuildIt's help I built my house in 8 months and I live with their mistakes everyday. A real estate agent on full commission will charge 7% to sell your house. UBuildIt charges more to help you build your house. They claim to provide expert guidance but made mistakes that an experienced home builder shouldn't make. That's okay, Item H of the one-sided
Agreement states that UBuildIt cannot be held responsible for mistakes. Read the Agreement carefully.
Another claimed benefit is their list of approved subcontractors and the volume discount and service you will get from them.
My experience: 1) at least one sub would not return calls from me or UBuildIt, 2) one sub would not work outside a limited geographic area, 3) at least 3 subs were dropped from approved list after working on my home, 4) one sub refused to do work for me. In Section 2 of the Agreement UBuildIt commits to 24-hour telephone service for immediate assistance. On a Friday afternoon after the sub refused to work for me I contacted UBuildIt and left several messages. My call was returned the following Tuesday. Too much money for too many mistakes and too little service. Spend your money elsewhere.
