Based on the positive reviews, I choose to patronize this business. I brought in 2 dresses to be altered for a very special occasion. The dresses were NOT ready on the agreed upon date. When I returned for the SECOND pickup attempt, they still were NOT ready. Finally, on the THIRD pickup date, I was told they were ready, but to my dismay, neither dress was altered how I had requested. By this time, it was a couple of days before the event. I could not risk leaving the dresses to be fixed, since they had proven that they did not meet deadlines. Also, the charge for both dresses was the same, even though one dress needed substantially less work than the other. Overall, I am very dissatisfied and feel the tailoring was not what I asked for, my time was not valued, they did not honor their word, and to top it off- I was overcharged.

I don't trust alot of people with my expense clothes. Linda does amazing work! I am taking ALL of my alterations to them. Beautiful work!

The quality at TK designs is not all it's cut out to be. I used them twice and both times I was disappointed by the poor quality. The first time they altered my bridesmaid dress too short, and when they tried to fix it, the back had a bulge. I decided to give them one more chance because of all their great reviews. The second time they did not fix the entire dress. They brought it in at the top, but they did not fix the anything below the hips so the finishing result was two folds from the hip to the bottom of the dress. It did not look professional at all. I will never bring my dresses or any alterations needed back to them. To add onto that, I had to drive 25 minutes out of my way. It's just not worth it.

TK designs offers better rates than anyone else I have found in Sandy Springs. They recently remodeled and are conveniently located.

My daughter had to have a particular dress for prom. Unfortunately the only one left was two sized to small. We took it to TK and they worked miracles! The dress not only fits her like a glove,but when I brought it home I could have sworn she hadn't done anything to it because she is that good. Even though TK is a good 30 to 40 minutes from my house, I won't use anyone else.

After the bridal store I bought my dress from failed to tell me I needed to bring shoes to try on my dress for alterations, I was so upset that I made the 25+ mile trip that I took my dress with me and found TK Designs.

Linda was so sweet and kind and did an amazing job. My dress fit like a glove and she had tips and helpful information for me in regards to anything wedding dress related! Not to mention the price was less than half of what the bridal store quoted me!!!

I totally recommend this place to anyone and will return when needed! Thank you TK Designs!

I came in seeking to make my strapless wedding dress into a halter dress with a belt. Not only did it turn out beautifully, Linda Sears did an excellent job of altering my size 10 wedding dress down to a size 2. It fit me perfectly. I would highly recommend Linda Sears and TK Designs to anyone.

I decided to use TK Designs to alter a bridemaids dress after reading all the rave reviews on Kudzu. I drove about 15 miles out to Sandy Springs passing a number of other tailors because I was sure that TK Designs would provide me with excellent alterations.

I must say that I am disappointed in the qaulity of the alterations that I received. The day of the wedding the threads where the alterations had been made began to unravel. I even had to use a sewing kit and safety pin some of the dress back together because it was unraveling so badly. I was disappointed that I had to scurry aroud on such a busy day trying to find safety pins to fix my dress.

The ladies at TK were very friendly, professional and the service was good. I think that the alterations were definitely overpriced for the quality. I will probably seek a different tailor for my next event.

As a professional event planner, I cannot say enough great (wonderful!) things to say about TK Designs and Linda Sears! They saved one of my brides' 07/07/07 wedding. After another dress shop (to remain nameless) butchered her dress, I called TK Designs to see if they could help. I imagined the hundreds of dollars they would charge to correct the hideous mistakes made by the other shop and the rush charges (Wednesday was 4th of July!). The bride took her dress in on Tuesday - everyone was sympathetic to her plight and agreed that there was much work to be done. They promised results by Thursdayand delivered! The bride was thrilled! I was thrilled! The wedding was saved! And get thisthey charged her less than the original alterations made by the clueless bridal shop! We're talking less than $100! T.K. Designs - look out, you're getting all of my brides from now on!

This place does the best work in alterations that I've seen in Atlanta. I had a $400 designer dress that was 2 sizes too big that needed to be sized to a 6 because the boutique was out of my size(I had to have it!). I was concerned that it couldn't be done, but TK assured me that it could. When I picked it up, it fit me like a glove and is still the most beautiful dress I own. They deliver on time, are affordable, and do great work. It doesn't get any better than that!
Also, I recently had a dress custom made for my appearance on Paula Deen's show, "Paula's Party". The dress is beautiful, fits me like a glove, is the color I wanted (not the only color on the rack) and to have it custom made was HALF the price charged for the SAME dress at Nieman Marcus!!! Try them. Linda Sears is a MIRACLE WORKER!! I am having them make me a custom evening gown for a cruise this fall. I am ALWAYS satisfied - no - OVERWHELMED by their talent!
