The Earl

I have been going to the Earl for years and despite the inevitable crowds and dark, dive bar feel, its a great bar where you can drink cheap beer and often hear great live music.

We are picky about our burgers. There is the burger trifecta -- this place, Vortex, and the Flatiron down the street. All three are reliably delicious. We go here when our friend who loves the tiny skinny fries gets to pick, and we're always happy. I do wish they had more different appetizers. Score an outside table if you can.

Great musicGreat Music.. dark.. good drink selections.. it can make for an interesting night if the mood is right! I like the outside patio, and the large counter top they have going on outside. The fact that it's a dive bar is even better.. so you can where whatever you wish, and you wouldn't be out of place. I like wearing me flip flops and just walking around town- and this place let's me dress as I please.

They get some pretty big name bands actually, fun to see live music and hang in a cool spot like the EArl

Food is OK, drinks are fairly priced, they have music in the back. It is a fun place when the vibe is right.
