Godfather Customs

I ordered a flip kit, 4 shocks, bump stops and 2" drop coils for my Silverado. When I placed the order I was told it would 1 day to process and 3 days to ship. I had a garage waiting to help me put this stuff on the next Saturday. I thought that was plenty of time if there was a delay. The next Thursday I called to see what was up and was told it was shipping that day. A week later got the same story and they would not give me a tracking number. Another week later and the shop is lined up again and I took off work because they said everything would be here no later than Friday. Well it is Friday, I am off work, shop is lined up and expecting me and I only have bump stops and coils in my possession. Called GFC and finally got a tracking number. Items are drop shipped and they were backordered. If I had known that I would have went elsewhere or bought something in stock. Now they will not be here until Monday. I am out time, a vacation day at work, money for the shop guys, and stressed out. STAY AWAY FROM GFC unless they are installing your parts. Shipments and customer service are the worst I have ever dealt with.

I was very dissapointed with service from Godfather Customs, they were highly reccommended. I had my 24" rims balanced and installed, one of the rims was installed inproperly causing lug to break, vehicle was wobbling like an egg, only one lug was still intact on one front rim, there response was sorry, it happens sometimes, they reinbursed me for the new rotor; ordered a roll pan 3 weeks ago, they couldn't get it right, I got my refund and ordered it from LMC and received part in 3 days, had it installed and painted. I wouldn't order anything else, if they don't have it in stock, shop online. They have alot of nice stuff, but when you call the phone, the guys give you that "don't give a f@ck attitude".

I never thought anyone could screw up something so simple, yet they proved me wrong. And this was for the third time! Unless you have an abundance of time and money, I suggest going elsewhere. It's just a headache I could have done without.

I have nothing but good praises to say about godfather customs. I have been customizing cars for years and have ordered and purchased many parts from them. If any problem came up, they were eager to help and make it right. I dont think a company that has been around as long as they have, can maintain that by being rip off artists or by not treating their customers right. mnetrucker is way off base!!!!!!

Nice try atl mini trucker. Or should I say Godfather Customs. Word of advice, don't reply the very same day. It's obvious you're both one of the same. Which makes your attempt at trying to keep Godfather's reputation up rather pathetic. Fact is sir, John directly told me when I asked how long it'll take to arrive, no later than the end of next week. A month later I still didn't have it. And I'm fully aware that certain custom orders take longer to make and arrive. However this was not a custom order. It was a simple set of inch and quarter wheels adapters that I could have found 5 sets of, off ebay. And had probably the very same week or no later than next. Only reason I went through Godfathers was because you were fairly close by, and I wanted to give someone else my business for a change. You want to make things right, by all means. I'm listening:

UPDATE: I gave them several chances to make things right. They chose not to. So I got my parts elsewhere. And I will not use Godfathers ever again. I've even went as far as to spread the word around through my mini truckin friends on the forum I moderate, and various automotive forums I post in. So You think you only lost one customer, when sadly, you've lost many many more. Hope you guys get your act together.

I recently went and financed a set of 24" wheels for my Chrysler. I had a great experience and would recommend this shop to any of my friends.
