I visited Dr. Perez with a tooth that turned out to be an emergency procedure before going out of town for two weeks. I scheduled an appt to have it looked at and based on that and my pain level, they worked on me right then. Then a few weeks later, another tooth became very sensitive to temperature. Dr. Perez found a large crack in my tooth that needed a crown. A few days later, the same tooth went bad and needed a root canal. When I went back (also same day service when I called) he said…you didn’t show any signs of this so I didn’t do one when we put the crown on. I was very pleased at the level of professional ethics in not recommending or performing a procedure I didn’t need at the time. I’ve found the office staff to be very friendly and helpful. I’ve found the dental assistants to be pleasant, professional and concerned about my comfort level while in the chair. Dr. Perez is knowledgeable, efficient and very professional and very pleasant as well. And the whole group was so patient with me because I am a total wimp when it comes to mouth pain! I picked these guys out of my dental HMO provider book. I am so happy to have found a great dentist and would recommend them to anyone!

Vinings dental group is excellent! I've been coming to this dental clinic for the last 5 years. The staff is very cordial and friendly, the hygenist and the doctors are very qualified. I just absolutely like this place and would recommend others to come!

I have been seeing Dr. Larsen for a few years now and right from the start he made me feel at ease. I had to have some extensive work and was putting off going for many years just out of embarrassment. Dr Larsen took away all my fears and I just love the way my teeth look now. I have sent 2 of my co-workers to see him and they have been very happy with every part of his practice. His staff is wonderful and very helpful with all insurance issues. Anyone who goes there would not be disappointed in any way.

My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Larsen for a couple of years now. I recently had some veneers done and he did a fantastic job. Price was very reasonable too. I went to a dentist in Buckhead that wanted 1500 per veneer. Dr. Larsen did it for half of that. Also, my wife had a crown done by him that is very nice. We have our cleanings every six months and have never had anything but great visits. A+

I only have great things to say about Vinings Dental! All employees are extremely helpful and always friendly. Office is always clean and the TV's in the rooms are a plus!

I had an abscessed tooth and went to VDG for a root canal and crown replacement. First of all, the dental asst placed a dam so far in my mouth that I had to physically stop her and pull it out of my mouth because I was about to retch. At no point did she ask me whether or not I was uncomfortable. I've never had such an overall uncomfortable experience at a dentist office. The waits in the chair were interminable, clearly the dentist was trying to treat too many patients at one time. And the parking in the little strip mall where they are located is completely inadequate. And to top it all off, I continue to have problems with the tooth that supposedly no longer has a nerve, things like sensitivity to pressure, temperature and transient discomfort. In other words, I received a partial root canal for the price of a full root canal. Some time soon I'll have to have this malpractice fixed by a dentist who knows what they're doing. In my opinion, THESE PEOPLE ARE HACKS.

hmmmm. I have read some of the bad reviews on here and I don't quite understand. I have had crowns, fills and cleanings done with Dr. Larsen, Dr. Perez and the Hygenists. Everyone there from the dentist to the staff has been extremely nice to me every time I go. I was also recommended a deep cleaning because I NEEDED it. It was only once and now I just maintain with regular cleanings. It's not a scam - it's called dental hygiene! Never had insurance probs and everything was explained to me in plain english. I have never felt like I was being pushed to buy any special rinses, ect. either. I actually recommend Dr. Larsen all the time!

I only visited this dentist's office twice before I switched. The first time I went in because one tooth was getting sensitive and gave me pain from time to time. Instead of checking up on my problem tooth, they started recommending deep cleansing, scaling and planing. $160 later (with expensive toothpaste and mouthwash they pushed) my mouth was feeling no better. My wallet certainly suffered. BTW, the dentists before and after them both said I did a great job keeping my teeth clean! The 2nd time around they made me wait for over an hour w/o even warning me of the delay. I was almost late for a conference call. It was at that moment that I decided I'd had enough. EVERY SINGLE stall in their office comes with a flat-screen TV. Believe me: we are all paying for it. These people have no interest in your well-being. All they are after is $$$$. RUN from them!

I feel this office is extremely professional and informative. While I was at first sceptical of the need for scaling and gum treatments, I believe I did indeed need these services. They took the time to explain issues with my gums and teeth. I have been seeing Dr.Perez and find him very capable. After coming to Vinings Dental for the past two years I have been very safisfied.

Everyone I know that has gone here has had "gum disease" with expensive out of pocket procedures required. I have started seeing a reputable dentist who has assured me that I do not have gum disease and had unnecessary procedures at Vinings Dental. Also, I had to have a crown redone after less than 2 years since it was done improperly. This is not a dentist office, it is a money making scam.
