No Customer Service
Our daughter's Honda Accord SRS (safety restraint system) light came on which is a well documented problem. She went to Hedricks (a great auto repair in Lawrenceville) and they referred her to the dealer as this problem is covered under warranty. She dropped by Mall of Georgia Honda and gave them the printout from Hendrix and made an appointment for the next day. I took the car in only to bet told an hour later that they did not have the part and would have to order it. The representative told me they could not have ordered it the day before because it was a controlled part and required the diagnostic test which had to be done by a authorized Honda tech (would not accept Hedricks). I was not happy but made an appointment for the next day. The next day after a 2 hour wait, the representative told me there had been a mistake in the part and they would have get it from another dealer. So another 3 or 4 hour wait. I asked if someone could drive me home but I lived outside the 5 mile radius. I could wait or come back.
The whole time no one cared their mistake had caused me a whole day of work. Lousy customer service.

nice buying experience
we bought a honda odyssey minivan. sales guy was nice, intelligent and helpful. finance guy was honest and thorough. they respected our time and had their timing of each part of the buying experience timed down to the minute so that we know how long each part would take. it was impressive.

Don't recommend
The first time I used MOG it was the service center for a required check up. I got my car back and the car was so out of alignment I had to drive with the steering wheel turned way off center to even keep on the road. Never used them again for service. Went this year to price a new CRV. First visit they quoted a price so low other dealers wouldn't touch it, and second time the price was much higher than other dealers and included a $1000 "appearance fee." We did not purchase a car from them because of the pricing issues.

They are good at cheating customers
I called them on Oct.25,2008 to enquire a new 2008 Odyssey LX. An operator transfered me to a sales guy called himself Luis. We agreed on a price which sounded every good. So I decided to go to pick up the car immediately. Once I got there, the reception (sounded exactly the same as the operator connected my call) said no one there named Luis but she confirmed the phone number recorded on my cell phone was theirs. Another sales person immediately said he could help me but he wanted me to believe I was out of my mind when I mentioned the priced given to me on the phone. Then he and his manager started all trained technics and trying to sell me a car at $3000 more than the priced I was promissed. Of cause I walked out with anger. I told what happened to me to some of my friends. One of them said they did the same thing to him sometime ago. A sales person told him a price on the phone; once he got in there, the sales guy (he used his real name though) totally denied the price he promissed on the phone and tried to make a sale at a much higher price. I don't know if they only target on people speaking English as a second language, but I have enough reason to believe this is their regular practice. If they could do it to me and my firend, they must have done the same to many other people. So I'm calling whoever had the same experience to speak out to help inocent customers from falling to their traps again.

Honda Mall of Georgia Cheating Customers
I called Honda Mall of Georgia on Saturday Oct. 25 around 6:00pm. A femal operator answered the phone asked me how to direct my call. I requested to talk to a sales person for a new 2008 Honda Odyssey. Then she connected me to a male called himself Luis. We agreed on a price which sounds every good. So I decided to go in and he reminded me to go immediately because they would be closed at 9:00pm.
Once I got there, the reception (sounded exactly the same as the operator transfered my call) said no one working there named Luis but she confirmed the phone number recorded on my cell phone was theirs. Another sales person immediately said he could help us but there was no way he could sell at the price the person on the phone promissed. Then he and his manager started using all trained technics and trying to sell me a car $3000 more than the priced I was promissed on the phone. Of cause I walked out with anger.
I told what happened to me to some of my friends. And one of them said Honda Mall of Georgia did the same thing to him also. A sales person told him a price on the phone; once he got in there, the sales guy (he used his real name though) totally denied the price he promissed on the phone and tried to make a sale at a much higher price. I don't know if they only target this practice on people speaking English as a second language, but I have enough reason to believe this is their regular practice. If they did the same thing to me and my friend, they must have done it to many other customers. This kind of behavior is absolutely untollarable, they should not be allowed to get away with it. So I'm calling every one out there, if you had the same experience with Honda Mall of Georgia, please also post it to prevent more inocent people from falling into their traps.

RIP OFF! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!
Don't take your car in for service here, unless you want to be taken for all you are worth! I took my car in for service for a minor problem (I know as I have a brother who works on cars for a living, unfortunately he doesn't live here!). They immediately begin charging you $95 an hour just to diagnose the problem, and with mine they said it could take up to 5 hours to diagnose. I called them in the second hour and told them to stop and I would be there shortly to pick up my car. When I arrive, my car mysteriously works - now how could that be? Turns out all they did was put in a $2 Fuse and they charged me 200 BUCKS for it. I repeat - do not take your car in for service here, find a decent, honest mechanic. These people should be punished dirty business they are running.

Ripoff Artists, Liars and Cheats
They had the car I wanted, but I still paid a little over sticker and addendum. But the kicker - they wanted 29% over retail for wheels and tires to spiff up my ride - they were "all in" at that price too. Sad. Also be prepared to not see any paperwork (buyers order, etc.) until finance. Very unethical business practices. That's what you get for dealing with a corporate owned dealership. Never again - even if they do have the car I want.

Best dealershilp in the state.
The sales department has something alot of businesses do not - integrity and honesty. They believe in customer satisfaction. The service department is the best I have ever seen in the 46 years I have owned a vehicle. I bought my fifth vehicle from them.

Best Liars EVER!!!!!
I've had a bad experience with them every time. They screw over everyone! First, I bought a Honda Civic LX and paid a little extra b/c they promised free oil changes and tires for the life of the vehicle as long as I own it. Later, when I bring the Civic in, they tell me this is only valid if I came into their location only and paid for their extremely overpriced and horribly serviced scheduled maintenance every 10K miles. Of course, all my problems with the Civic began AFTER the 30K warranty - my front speakers broke, the axel was "tilted" (what they said), my brakes and rotors were wearing down as if I was in a wreck but it never was in an accident nor have I hit anything with this slow car so I paid over $5K for all the repairs in the end over the next year. They had the nerve to keep my car for 3 1/2 hours while I just wasted my life away at Mall of Georgia because I needed something to eat - they old gentleman shuttled me over there. The next time I actually sat there for 2 hours thinking they would be FASTER and not put my car off if I was actually there instead of off supposedly "shopping". The internet never worked there, they can't clean your car well either and they get an attitude if you are passing by and want to get the complimentary car wash without servicing your car (before the drought). DON'T EVER BUY A CAR FROM THERE AND IF YOU DO, DON'T GET THEIR "FREE OIL AND TIRES FOR LIFE" PROGRAM - IT'S A SCAM!

Best Cheaters in Town
I've had a bad experience with them every time I've gone there. First, I bought a Honda Odyssey and paid a little more b/c they promised free oil changes and tires for the life of the vehicle. Later, I found out this was only valid if I came into their shop and paid for their extremely overpriced scheduled maintenance every 10K miles.

Next, the maintenance light came on in the vehicle and I thought something was wrong with the van. My wife took in and they charged her $150 to check the battery and change some fluids as it was a "Schedule Maintenance Light" to remind us to come in and pay them to do almost nothing.

When I went to complain about this, because I didn't think it was fair to pay $150 to have them check the battery and top off the fluids, the manager told me $150 was nothing. The next "Scheduled Screw Job", was going to be about $500!
