Above Physical Therapy

At Above Physical Therapy, John and Maria-Elena work with you one-on-one for your entire physical therapy session. You are not evaluated and then passed off to an assistant and/or worked in with other patients. Their Gyrotonic and pilate equipment can address all areas of the body to stretch, strengthen and tone. Other services include Craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, massage therapy, nutritional therapy, group classes and more. You will be treated with professional care in a friendly, private, and calming environment.

When I came to ABove Physical Therapy, I had had two surgeries and spent over a year seeing specialists and therapists. Walking had become so painful that I was considering a wheelchair. Simply put, because of the treatment I received at ABove Physical Therapy, my life has returned pretty much to normal. Maria Elena has been my therapist for the past year and has been painstaking in finding creative therapy techniques to help me. Her approach to working with only one client at a time and treating the entire body using a variety of methods has literally put me back on my feet. I always recommend to people that they seek treatment with ABove Physical Therapy because they are truly caring in addition to being great physical therapists.

The pilates are BEYOND what you'd find at the local fitness club. Their knowledge of the body creates results you can't get anywhere else! Great people too!

I had wantedt to take a pilates class for year and through a friend I found out about Above PT. I started taking classes there a I am so glad I did. These guys are wonderful! I've had a lympho treatment and the foot bath. Go you will be so happy you did.

I have been with Above All Fitness and Gary Royals since December 2000. He was recommended to be by my doctor after I had surgery. He helped me get my strength back, as well as getting me in the best shape of my life. For rehab, the best thing about Gary is he recognizes that I am not a 20-something in spandex and that I have problems and need exercize appropriate to my age -- 57. Two years ago, I had back surgery and, when I was ready to start exercizing again, I went back to Above All Fitness. Gary Royals checked the program he wrote with my orthopaedist and I could not be happier. I go up and down stairs much easier, have lost weight and am in overall better health and shape. I have been with Gary for almost 8 years and I would never consider using someone else.

The pilates classes are fun, but try the private pilates sessions with the equipment! The instructors are physical therapists, they are so knowledgeable and they really know how to give you a beneficial workout tailored specifically to you.

I've been to 4 different Physical Therapist's in the area because I've had knee pain for years and nobody can seem to do anything except make it worse. I found AbovePT online and was skeptical at first because I thought it would be the same experience. I WAS WRONG! This team treats you with the most care and really works hard to get you back on your feet. I'm not a number there, every visit I am greeted with professionalism and respect. Most importantly, they actually listen to me. I've been going for 2 months now (3X a week) and my pain is the least I have felt in 14 years. Thank you AbovePT, you are giving me back my active lifestyle.

I have been going to Above Phyiscal Therapy for about six months and it has been fantastic. The pilates instruction is great. I have never felt better nor looked better in my life. I would recommend this facility to anyone.
