Salon Red

I have been a customer of Salon Red for years. In 2006 I moved to North Carolina but still made regular trips to Atlanta to get my "hair fix" with Teena. I was devastated when she decided to move to Ashville. I had to resort to using second rate hair dressers for the remainder of my stay in North Carolina. I literally did not have a good hair experience until I moved back to Atlanta in January. I brought my mom to visit and while she was here we made a day of cut and color at Salon Red with Mathew and Clay. My mom is a very low maintenance farm girl with the most beautiful locks of curly, golden blond hair. From years of living with well water, her hair was dull,orange in color and lifeless. Clay made her look amazing. I've never seen her look so beautiful. I am the opposite. High maintenance. I get bored easy and I am trying to grow my hair back long. I have curly hair and it seemed that Teena was the only person in the world that knew what to do to make me happy. It seems I struck gold twice at the same Salon. Clay and Mathew are True Masters. They listen to you when you tell them what hair goal you are trying to achieve. The customer service is excellent. I'm glad to be back with Salon Red. Thanks so much, P.S. Clay- Please don't move to Ashville!

.I came in to get my hair and makeup done for a wedding and Jessica did my up do and Mason did my makeup and it was perfect. The two of them worked together like musical instruments. I have never received so many compliments on how good I looked. I will never go anywhere else.

I'e been going to Salon Red in Decatur where Atwood colors and cuts my hair. I have naturally curly hair and have had many stylists mess up my cuts severely by not knowing how to work with curly hair. Atwood knows just how to cut my hair so that it looks great straightened or in it's natural state. She also listens to me and makes my color amazing every time. I definitely recommend Atwood to anyone, but especially for those of us with curly hair.

I have been a client of Ashley Williams at Salon Red Decatur for about a year and a half now and I wanted to take a moment to RAVE about her!!!! First of all, she is always so pleasant to be around and you honestly feel an instant sense of relaxation when you're around her. She begins your salon experience by asking you for your thoughts and desires for your color - whether I have stayed the same or want a new change. I have no idea abou the "ins and outs" of color design, but I do know that each and EVERY time I leave the salon - I am truly pleased with how my hair looks and feels! My color has such a depth and richness to it that I've never had before. I receive so many compliments about my hair color - it's all thanks to Ashley!!!!!!

There are times when i dont't have time to make an appt with a hair stylist. So i ended up going to salon red which was convenient & walk ins were a breeze. I started with an terrific head massage and their sinks were comfortable! I usually let a hair stylist work their magic and let them know what i needed. My color ended up rockin and the feel of the salon was terrific! Everyone was smiling and having a great time! Each one of the stylist is quite amazin and very good at what they do. I moved here from las vegas so my haircuts and style end up from $150-$200 instead here in the south it was not expensive at all! It was a great and fair deal. You should feel amazin after a cut, style and color! A diamond in the rough made into a diamond! Yes i would recommend salon red! For this great experience: PRICELESS

I had a great experience at salon red in downtown decatur. I had been there before but this was my first time with Miranda. She is great!! She really listened to me and I love my hair!!! Other stylists I've been to didn't really listen to me but Miranda was incredible. I am just so grateful I found her. Shes got a client for life!!! I highly recommend her for cut and color!!

I love Salon Red and my stylist Alana! I have been going for about a year now and would not go anywhere else! I drive 40 miles one way because I do not trust anyone else! : ) She does both my cut and color, and does such an amazing job on both. I have had so many compliments on my color since I have been attending Salon Red. I am so happy I have found someone who listens to what I want and really cares!

Untrained and unethical!!!!!! Jessica the owner can't cut hair to save her life and was yelling at her staff right in front of me. This was my first time to Salon Red as I just moved here from out of state. It was a Saturday morning and I could tell they were busy but that is no reason to yell at someone. The staff member she was yelling at was just some young guy, I felt really bad for him.. She was so focused on everyone else and her own personal problems that she jacked up my hair. Also, and this is the worst part, there were fruit flies everywhere, I thought I was going to get sick! I guess the ac had broken and they opened up the doors. At any rate for 75 dollars I expected much, much, more.

i was recently refered by a friend to Salon Red in decatur. I called in and they were able to book me the next day with Morgan. She was doing a special where i got a full highlight and a cut for 100 dollars! My color is perfect and i love my haircut. Morgan was super friendly and listened to everything i said! She looks funky and young but she gave me a great blonde highlight and long layered haircut! I will definately be back and reccomend anyone looking for a great salon to try salon red and see her!

I passed by Salon Red while I was in Decatur last week so I decide to stop in. There was no wait and my stylist was very friendly. Unfortunately the haircut I got was terrible. I specifically asked for my hair to flip out in the back and instead she tapered it and used a razor to shave the back of my neck since the hair was cut so short. Then to make matters worse, the bangs that I said need to go behind my ear are up to my eyebrows, over 3 inches from my ear. I am easy to please and have never complained about a haircut before, even Supercut did a better job and for a lot less money. But for $45 I'd expect my stylist to at least listen to my desires and not use my hair to try out a new style or technique. One last thing, I have seen Aveda Concept store mentioned but not one Aveda product were used on my hair that day.
