VERY high quality care
My children have been attending Kids R Kids West Cobb for years. I love the amount of attention the staff gives the children in their care. From the infant room all the way to Afterschooler, the staff is highly qualified and extremely nurturing. The management is professional and still personal and frienly. The added comfort of having webcam in the classrom helps me feel more involved with my children's day. I love this school and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great childcare experience.

Like a second family...
My husband and I have been more than pleased with our experience at Kids R Kids. When we first had our son, the staff was very welcoming and respectful, knowing that we were new parents and very timid about daycare. The teachers and staff made us feel comfortable from day 1. Our son is now 2 1/2 and loves going to school. All of our experiences with the teachers have been great, and they are very easy to talk too about any concerns you may have. And they quickly address situations necessary. Many of the staff members feel like a second family to us, which is how you should feel when chosing a facility! We know we made the right choice sending our son to school here. We highly recommend Kids R Kids of West Cobb!

Dirty, Disgusting, & Poorly Managed
I should've know by the looks of the lobby that this place was nowhere i wanted to be. it was bare. the only decoration was a poorly colored character taped to the front desk. the website boasts cafeteria dining...not true. the teachers are ghetto, the classrooms are out of controll, the playgrounds look like prison yards with nothing for the kids to do but run around in circles. the entire school is filthy with the teachers left up to cleaning the place...no cleaning crew at night like most businesses. The kids lunches are disgusting. The snacks are all sugar. when i was there they served sugar cookies and apple juice! the kids were bouncing off the walls. its left up to the teachers to decide if they want to serve water...but that's only half the battle. the managment style is more -like NON-managment. every teacher i spoke with complained that there was no communication between the director and the teachers. they were pretty much just working there for the money until they found something better. the director, wendy, sent out a rude, attitude filled message over the loud speaker for all the school to hear, including parents who were dropping off kids and visiting the school. they dont use any form of discipline for out of control children hurting other children. they "re-direct" which fails to teach the difference in right and wrong so bad behavior continues to happen. i was ashamed to be affiliated with this school for the small amount of time i was there.

Increasingly Disappointed
The director increasingly amazes me with her poor management skills and inability to keep parents informed of changes. I really can't give the place lower than 2 stars as I do feel my child is safe and most of the staff is nice. The kids are not really nurtured or anything, but safe. I do not recommend taking your child here for a laundry list of reasons unless it is a short term solution. I am seeking somewhere else for my own child.

Safe and Secure
My family has been searching for a learning center for our child and we found Kids R Kids on Barrett Parkway. The staff are pleasant, engaging and the building is secure with cameras and a front desk that always has a staff member visible to monitor who comes in and out of the building. We visited another school, Foundations, and we walked in easily with the front door being opened for us by staff or other parents. No one was at the front desk either time! Sure Kids R Kids has a more "institutional" look, but that is how public and private schools look from Kindergarten on.

Like Most Things, Go With a Smaller Place
At first I thought this was a dream come true. The price was higher than most, but the tour was awesome, featuring a huge audio/video room with video games, TVs and computers, right up my son's alley (see later on that it was not used). He began to have mean kids bullying him daily, and the teachers seemed sensitive to this, but the director would admit nothing. My son makes friends easily so we'd never encountered this. Long story short, I was told I was blowing things out of proportion and it was my own distorted perception, but that they'd spoken to the other mothers. I ran into one of the mothers, who had no idea about any of this. There was almost no supervision or protection of kids like mine who were being made miserable. I'd had about enough. Then after asking my son every day for weeks if he'd played the video games and hearing, "no", I asked them. They said the kids were just too rough on the computers so they stopped allowing them to use the room after the first week of summer. So, there went the extra $35 per week I was paying for that - I felt duped, like bait and switch. I went down the street to Due West Academy where the kids & parents are treated with respect, not with fear of a lawsuit, and my son tells me every day how much happier he is. The big chains must've been sued too much to admit problems.
