Being a first time home buyer, I was very skeptic about the whole inspection process. Larry eased all my worries and did an excellent job in the inspection of the property I am in the process of buying. He walked me through every single nook and corner of the house from the roof to the bottom, back to front and explained every little thing about the house. He pointed out some minor defects in the house which the seller agreed to fix. I am extremely pleased with the manner in which the inspection was conducted by Larry and would recommend him to anybody and every single first home buyer out there.

Larry Gates inspected the house I was selling and helped me get it into top shape. He also inspected the house I was buying and pointed out several items that the previous owner corrected before we completed our purchase.
Larry is very knowledgable of building codes and his experience in plant maintenance gives him a great talent for home inspections. His background and knowledge result in a thorough analysis of the problems and faults every house has and allows you to make an educated decision when purchasing a home.

Larry's careful scrutiny of a home I intended to purchase revealed water damage and mold in an undisclosed crawl space that could have cost thousands to repair. He spent several hours inspecting every aspect of the home and provided a very thorough and comprehensive report the same day. Larry discussed each area of concern, such as the proper installation of insulation and any recommended repairs, in great detail. Larry explained unfamiliar terminology (fascias, water intrusion, "double-tapped" electrical panel, etc.), patiently answered all my questions, and was quick to return my calls when I wanted further clarification. Buying a home is a such a big commitment, and the peace of mind derived from a thorough inspection is invaluable. I recommend Larry without reservation and will be hiring him for another inspection next week.
