Dr. Verras - Excellent Pediatrician! Recommended.
I was pregnant, interviewing doctors the first time I met Dr Verras. I was not sure that he was the right pick but he came recommended by several nurses and my OBGYN, so I thought I would give him a try.
Dr Verras is Greek and not very chatty but a fantastic doctor who knows his patients and gives 110% of his time and energy to his practice. Because he is very efficient and does not waste any time, he gets to see tons of patients every day. You never have to wait long to see him which is woderful wen you have a sick child in your arms.
10 years and 2 kids later, I still love this doctor who makes hmself available over holidays, weekends etc. He has helped us with several childhood issues and calmed us when we were worried sick.
My kids have never been afraid of going to see him and I am always impressed that he remembers them and their histories before checking charts etc.
Many of the front office staff have worked with Verras for years. Yes,they could be a little sweeter to worried moms, but the back office nurses and great as is the other Dr in the practice, Dr John.
If looking for a new Doc for your children, I highly recommend this one. I travel 25 minutes to his office and it is well worth it!
