Great service and sales
"I'm telling everyone how much I love my new sportwagon. The service dept is excellent, and got my car to me in half the time they told me which was great because I had my daughter with me. You really have instilled the sense of ownership in your employees. Everyone I have ever dealt with there has gone out of their way to do their best for me. Thank you."

Man they take care of you!
My wife and I picked out a Beetle from Jim Ellis VW on July 4. As great as it was, we figured out by the 6th that it was too small for us.
Now, I know you aren't supposed to be able to return a car - especially a used one! - but when we went in Monday, Bob and Mike were such a terrific help to us in picking out a more sane choice for our family. In the end, we walked out with a beautiful '08 Passat that is just the thing.
Thanks guys!

Very Pleased So Far
No complaints! Thoughtfully take of extra requests like a 2nd trunk hook for bags or retrieving the Satellite radio serial #. They've done a good job on alerting customers about the renovations and have made suitable adjustments while under construction. I was just there for a courtesy (free) check-up on my 2009 CC, but everything was handled efficiently and the work was done within an hour. I love the CC!

Excellent sales and customer service!!!
My wife and I recently purchased a VW Eos from Jim Ellis. Every aspect of the sales – from the initial conversations with the sales rep (Jeremy Roberts) through financing – was top notch. They listened to our needs, never pulled out any high pressure sales tactics and delivered exactly what they said they would. We ended up with a great deal on a car we are thrilled with. It was by far the best purchasing experience in 18 years of car buying. We highly recommend Jim Ellis for any VW purchase and will definitely be repeat customers.

Home Away from Home
Second purchase from Jim Ellis in 3 years, driven by positive experience in both buying and servicing department, but most importantly being treated as members of family.
Both times we got expected trade-in value and competitive price for new vehicle purchased. We highly recommend Mr. Thom Holmes who will ensure that your buying experience is relaxed, and pressure free.
Alongside, Service department will ensure that Jim Ellis becomes your car's home away from home and that you become a repeat customer for times to come.
Thank you Thom, and see you next year with our next car purchase!

Rip off, STAY AWAY!!
I took in my 2007 Jetta with 29000 miles on it that I had recently bought because it wasn't shifting smoothly. They to me that it was due to the motor mount that was (partially) broken. They called me and said come and look at it if you want, becasue it won't be covered under warranty. I took a mechanic with me who knew more about cars then me, we both noticed that the partially broken mount was not now completely brokene, and said it won't be covered under warranty when I questioned it, because I saw the new broken piece, they said they would fix it under warranty. When I went to pick up the car, they said we didn't do it under warranty, we did it in goodwilllike dealers know what goodwill is!!! Plus they never gave me the broken motor mount, I wonder why?! They day I was suppose to pick up my car, they told me my fan wasn't working either and that I couldn't drive for longer than a mile before my engine would heat up. Well I drove it 7 miles to my mechanic's shop and by the time I got there the fan was turned on. They are that dumb/rip off that they didn't wait for the car temperature to reach 190 in order for the fan to turn on. I also asked them to fix the window that was under warranty, which they didn't doOOPS, they forgot.I read older reviews on them and I should have followed others advice. They're nice to you while you get a service from them, even though I got a tuneup from them!!! but they run up your bill.I know their shop is empty due to bad economy, but this doesn't give them right to rip off and lie to people.Worst service, If you go for problems with your car that are under warranty, they make sure to find pr make problems that are not under warranty. Their technicians are clueless or maybe they act like they are. STAY AWAY, I went in driving my car, and they told me that I have to either tow it out of there or give them $950 to fix it! If you have to drive far to another dealership, do it, it's worth it!

I have bought parts from these guys for years now. They know their parts and what they don't know they are able to find really fast. I have always been pleased with the quality and the prices they gave me. I totally recommend them.

Discover $$$$$ malfunctioning parts on every visit
Every time I visit, there is one more thing that they add to the list The first time I went, they gave an estimate of $ 1,300 for timing belt change. The second time I went to get the belt replaced, an expense of $ 300 got identified.
Also, never expect a penny's worth of service in addition to what you paid, irrespective of whether it is a $10 service, or one for $ 2,000. I just returned after paying $ 1,200 for a timing belt change. The car that was not even washed after standing a whole day in their open lot and the windshield loquid container / coolant has been leaking ever since.
Also, the labor they charge beats that of professional consultants. Dealers I have been to in the past have been WAY better.
Wish you luck if you decide to go there.
