Good Experience
Had issues with my Ford Explorer and called CBA and talked to Mark(good guy). They were the only ones around that could take my car the same day. Dropped it off that morning, repaired with new fuel filter, plugs, and line that afternoon. Good, fast service with fair pricing. Will go back again.

Our mechanics of choice
We have taken both of our vehicles to CB auto for the past two years. They are friendly, professional, patient, and reasonably priced. Here is an example. One of our cars has more than 100,000 miles. A couple months back the dash lights went out and after investigating I figured out all it needed was a new light bulb. But to get to the bulb I would need to remove the dashboard. I was annoyed, but CBA took care of it at a reasonable price. They replaced the bulb and gave me a discount on the hourly rate for removing and replacing the dash. I suppose it may have helped that we are regular customers and that the bulb was just one of several jobs on the ticket. Still, in our experience they have consistently gone the extra mile. We can trust that when we take our car to them they will be diligent in identifying problems but will never push repairs we do not need.

Friendly and Fast
I went to CBA to get the car I was about to purchase inspected. Jack, the owner, was very friendly and knowledgable. He said the service would take a hour and they were down in 45 minutes. Outstanding service!

Honest People
I have taken my car to Christian Brothers several times and they seem like real honest people. They have told me when I thought something was broken that it wasn't, that it only took them cleaning it out and it didn't take a new part. They seem like they do a very good job. The pricing isn't bad, but it certainly beats taking to a dirt cheap place that charges you for stuff you don't need

Good, Honest Service
There are a few things you need in life: a good accountant, a good dentist, and a good mechanic. Being new in town, we needed help finding a good mechanic, and we relied on the reviews on kudzu to find one. We used Christian Brothers for a 30,000 mile service, and to check out the brakes that were squealing. I was positive the front brakes would need to be replaced, because the rear brakes were replaced a year ago. We utilized the late-night drop box so our car would be there first thing in the morning. I received a call at 11am with an estimate of service. It turns out the brakes didn't need servicing at all. I KNOW they could have just replaced at least the brake pads and I wouldn't have questioned it at all. This was a huge deal, because I know nothing about cars, so it's great to have a mechanic who will not screw you over just to make a few bucks. The car was ready in a few hours, and the price was very reasonable for the 30,000 servicing. The price was exactly as quoted. I am so relieved to have found an excellent mechanic right up the street.

Gone for days and nothing done..
We called in to the store and received a quote. From there we dropped the car off before our 9 day vacation to AZ. They affirmed me it would be finished by the time we came back. We left several forms of contact information and asked several times if they needed any further information to ensure the project would be completed by the time we got back. I even went so far as to ask more times then I should have for fear of the situation that arose. A few days before we get home we receive a call from them asking what they needed to do on the car. They then proceeded to tell us they couldn't have it done by the time we got back and actually said it wouldn't be completed until the following week. They made no effort to help the situation or offer any sort of help to ensure our timing belt was worked on. We went to another company and the job was executed within a few hours and we are able to pick it up at lunch time. I don't recommend using this company.

This customer left the keys only with the vehicle in the parking lot.there was no information left with the vehicle,such as a name or cntact phone numbers.We cannot contact customers that have never been here before without proper information,so we can get a hold or reach them.Sometimes this happens but the customers will call us later or the next day or so.If the customer has been here before we can look up their information.We did not get a call on this vehicle,so a few days later we finally found a phone number from the glove box & called this customer.We left a message & a couple of days later the customer called back & stated he would like us to replace the timing belt.We gave him a price & he said ok but he had to have it at a certain time.Although we may have been able to meet the deadline it was risky & we will not hurry or rush repairs,because we do not give up on quality.We are a company that will not do any work without approval first.People will call with phone estimates all the time,but it is recommended to give or supply the repair shop with contact information.This is a regrettable situation.We have drop-off envelopes in a mailbox right beside are front door & a key drop slot in our front door.The automotive repair business relys on open communications with the customer & repair shop,without it work does not get done. No need to look anywhere else
The people at CBA were a pleasure to work with, honest, upfront, and attentive. They did an excellent job on my car for routine maintance and were hones with pricing and if the part didn't need to be replaced, they didn't replace it just to make an extra buck. I won't take my car anywhere else.
