Piedmont Hospital

I am 8 months preganant and my ob/gyn sent me to have tests done to evaluate shortness of breath. I was there for 6 hours. My nurse wouldn't respond to my calls from the roomafter 2 hours of waiting in the examining room I got dressed and went to find her. I had to remind her that i was 8 months pregnant and had had no food or drink for over 6 hours. To my surprise, she was very irritated and confrontational with me (and this is the first time i had complained in the 6 hours i had been held there). I felt more like I was at the DMV than a hospital. I have a really bad feeling about going back there for labor and delivery.

I felt like I got excellent patient care at Piedmont during two surgeries - one in 2006 and another in 2007. My only complaint is the time it took them to register me at my pre-surgery appointment. I spend over an hour in the waiting area.

Simply put, Piedmont is the "Ritz Carlton" of hospitals in Atlanta. Exceptional care and service. I had two babies there, including one preemie in the NICU. Staff is amazing, food is unbelievable and care is top-notch.

I can't say enough good things about Piedmont. I had open hear surgery there and stayed in the hospital for 6 days. EVERYONE was friendly, caring, professional, and had a smile. NO ONE seemed preoccupied, unhappy, or unwilling to help in any way. Nurses, Food Service, and everyone else were way above my expectation.

Piedmont Hospital has the best respiratory therapists in town. They are caring and very knowledgable. If you have any respiratory need you can be assured you will get the best of care.

We knew my child had a congenital heart defect before he was born and when I arrived at the hospital everyone was wonderful and called all of the specialists needed. Some complications occured during the birth and an emergency c-secton was needed. Everyone was calm and made sure we were ok. We would not have asked for a better way for our son to start his delicate life

Some nurses were less professional, but in general very professional.

I had both my kids here and they were wonderful both times! I had professional service and everyone was so pleasant!

Piedmont hospital has an excellent labor an delivery unit. The staff is caring, efficient and experienced.
