In 2006, we moved out of the Lithonia area. Although we are several miles away, we decided not to leave Deshon Animal Hospital. The doctors and staff at this animal hospital are friendly knowledgable, and have Rockie's best interest at all times. When we leave Rockie at Deshon Animal Hospital, we have no doubt that Rockie is in the best of care, safe and happy. Thank you Deshon Animal Hospital for all you do.

I went to Deshon after I went to another hospital after the first vet said that they didn't know what was wrong with my pet after the had examined her. Right after the examination the doctor told me immediately what she thought was wrong with my dog. She recommended test while I waited and showed me the results of the x-ray when they were done. Because I had waited so long there was almost nothing we could do but they were still geniunely concerned for the comfort of my pet and answered all my questions. Next time I will go to DESHON FIRST!!!

I was a Vet Tech at Deshon for 2 years and the reason why I left was I moved out of state. I am still in the Veterinary Field. Flaco you have to realize that with any surgery there is ALWAYS a risk that comes with anesthesia. You chose to have an elective cosmetic procedure done. And the outcome was that your dog was not able to tolerate the anesthesia. It happens. I do know for a fact that they have monitoring equipment during surgery also I know that they do not just give up. I have seen Dr T go above and beyond to revive animals. I am sorry for your loss but that is a risk that you take with surgery.

I was referred to Dr. Toler by my vet. He told me Dr, Toler was an expert at ear cropping. The result? my dog died. Why? how? who knows.. All the doc told me is that the dog had an allergic reaction to the anesthesia but when i dropped off the dog I had to pay EXTRA to have bloodwork done on the dog to make sure he wouldn't have issue with the anesthesia..

I love Deshon Animal Hospital. I am a new client there and they were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone.

Deshon animal hospital has been my vet for six years now and I absolutely love them. I board my two dogs at deshon almost all of the major holidays. They offer playtime for my pets to go outside and play with other dogs and exercise for 30 minutes everyday. I am glad that they require all pets to be up-to-date on vaccines It give me the peace of mine that my dog isn't sitting next to a unvaccinated dog. The staff is great they love on my dogs for me while I'm out of town. Simply the best

I am was the owner of the dog that died at Deshon Animal hospital.
I never went to see my dog or back to the hospital to talk to the vet. I feel as though the surgery was unnecessary and a risk from the beginning even though the vet and his staff reassured us that everything would be fine. My puppy never came home thanks to this hospital,vet and his staff. I don't know what the problem was all I know is my puppy is dead.I wouldn't advise anyone to trust them with your babies and I will go on every website to let everyone know that.Because whether your dog or cat makes it out they still get paid.

I brought my puppy for a second opinion for a severe ear infection because the first vet told me I needed to see a specialist. I called several animal hospitals to confirm whether a specialist was needed and Dr. Toler was the only veterinarian who called me back. Dr. Toler took the time to explain everything to me and patiently listened as I asked many questions. Dr. Toler did a thorough exam of my puppy and was able to prescribe the right combination of medication. My puppy has shown significant improvement within 2 days. I am extremely pleased with Dr. Toler's expertise and can't thank him enough for healing my puppy. I was also fortunate to avoid the high costs with going to a specialist.

I have been doing business with this vet for nearly 5 years. They even opened up early one sunday for me to pick my pet up from boarding. Great Service!!!

My husb. dropped off our Bichon Frise to get groomed ONLY.., when my husband went to p/u our dog..they charged us $200.00..for his annual shots and grooming!!! obsurd..our dog is on the Banfield Pet program and is up to date on his shotsso why would we tell them to give him annual shotsit wasn't necessaryit was up to the receptionist to ask for current records b4 taking our dog back for grooming..so they took it upon themselves to give him shotsand they charged us b4 we could p/u our dog ..so upset we left our dog there overnight..and picked our dog up the next dayand paid to get our dog..we just need to make the world aware of this locationDON' GO THERE!! there service is poor and their receptionist need to know to make the client fully aware of what services will be rendered.
