DO NOT DO DOOR REPAIR
I just called to get an estimate on repairing our back door since all the rain has warped it so bad & it barely closes. They immediately denied doing and said they "don't do door repair jobs" even though this site and THEIR site says they do. False advertisement!!!

We do perform roof repairs as a stand alone project. We also perform many other repairs in conjunction with larger projects. We do not perform handyman services. Unfortunately, the Kudzu list of services does not allow us to drill down to that detail. We actually referred you to someone that could help you. Thank you for returning the favor. False advertisement?? No response necessary.

fast,great roof repair
i found shantz roof repair on an internet searchi was given personal friendly servicethey repaired my roof when they said they would and finished the same day,most importantly,the final bill was exactly the quoted pricehighly professional throughout

Excellent Customer Service
I called Schantz regarding roof repair. They were very prompt and professional. Recommended some minor maintenance besides the repair which I also took advantage of. I had questions after the repair and they came back to my house and called me. Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend them. L. Oldham

Awesome workmanship!
Greg and his crew did a professional and timley job on the roof repairs of my home. I called them on Monday -the worst day of the floods - I live in Cobb Cty. Greg was here on Tuesday afternoon -appraised my property and the job was completed within days without further damage to my ceilings. He also added another ten plus years of life to my roof by adding more ventilation. I've recommoneded the company to several people- I am impressed and pleased with the services!!!!

Couldn't be happier
It was raining in my house during a storm. Greg came out the very next day, provided a thorough estimate, and was ready to start the work early the next week. By the time it rained again, I had a new roof at a fair price. I really couldn't have been happier.

Great follow-up
I originally left a negative review of this company but have removed it because of the follow-up by the owner of the company. The person we dealt with originally did not represent the company well. The owner assured me this was not how the company normally operated and resolved the issue. I would be willing to give this company another chance after having spoken to him.

I have contacted the customer to review this visit. The estimator communicated our deposit policy poorly and it was misinterpreted. This estimator was new to Schantz and did not follow our standard procedures. As it stands, this is NOT the way Schantz operates. I am very sorry this situation occurred and have conveyed this to the homeowner. Greg Schantz

Committed to Good Customer Service
After a negative experience with a service rep (who I believe no longer works for Schantz), Greg Schantz personally made sure my roof was fixed. He was clearly committed to making sure I was satisfied and taken care of. I really appreciated it. I will definitely call Greg for help with any future home improvement projects.

This customer is 100% correct. It is unacceptable and actions will be taken against the estimator. The estimator is newly hired as of two weeks ago and this was his first time out on his own. I was out on vacation for the long weekend, and was not in to monitor this person. I will certainly contact the customer directly to apologize. FOLLOW UP - The customer was extremely pleasant and has set another appt with Greg Schantz. The estimator has been let go as there is no tolerance for this behavior. The estimator signed an agreement "no appointments will be a no show, no call."

Satisfied

Handled my insurance claim
Greg handled my insurance claim when a tree branch fell through my roof. While I probably could have recovered my deductible by piecemealing all the various repairs with different low-bid companies, I have to say it was really nice and stress-free to just have a professional sort out all the details for me with the insurance company. Even more, Greg, in dealing with the insurance people, was able to have them cover additional expenses as we learned the further extent of the damage (i.e. water damage to floors).

Great Experience
We hired Greg and his crew to add a window to our basement. The project involved cutting through a weight bearing wall on the inside, and brick on the outside. Greg took the time to come out to the house on a couple occasions to help with our planning and to be sure that everything would be in place on the day the work was scheduled. Sure enough - it was. Work was completed the same day it began, and the window looks great. We've recommended this company to several friends and neighbors and will continue to do so.
