The Best and Most Caring Dentist I Have Had.....
I was so leary of dentists and the entire experience of going to a dentist was aniexty filled. Dr. Stewart and her staff had no problem with just a get to know each other first visit. I scheduled to come back for a dental cleaning. It was the most complete dental exam and cleaning, I have ever received in my entire life. The hygenist was excellent at explaining as she did the examine and cleaning. Most importantly to me she monitored my level of pain and discomfort. I proceeded with my treatment plan with Dr. Stewart in taking care of some past dental issues. Little would I know, how compassionate and assistful Dr. Stewart would become while I was away on an international business trip. I had cracked a tooth on the flight on the way over on my trip. I emailed her inquiring what I could do to alleviate some of the pain and she provided me with excellent advice that worked. She immediately saw me upon my return back to the ATL area. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Stewart and her staff. I can't believe I now laugh in the dentist office, and don't have this huge pit in my stomach on the way there. My dental care plan is very understandable and laid out with the software she uses. If you were like me and had some bad dental experiences in you past, trust me Dr. Stewart will ease your fears. I highly recommend her.

Excellent Dentist
I went to Dr. Stewart seeking a second opinion and was blown away by how welcoming and professional every single person in the office was. Not only was I given a very thorough examination but I was also treated with a great deal of compassion and courtesy. Most appreciated when you aren't feeling your best. It's not often you feel like you wouldn't mind hanging out and having a cup of coffee at your dentist's office - usually I can't get out of them fast enough.

Very Pleased!
This was my first time using Dr. Stewart. I have been having an awful toothache but my dentist (of over 10 years) was not able to squeeze me in their schedule. Not only did Dr. Stewart see me that same day, but she went above and beyond to help me. I will continue to use her!

Honest!
My husband decided to go to this dentist because they are close in our area. He had nothing to say but good things about the Dentist and their service. He has TMJ and they were so careful when they were cleaning his teeth. This will be our dentist from now on!

most thorough dental examination
i really like this dentist. her staff was very kind to me & my husband and took every precaution to make sure we were comfortable during our visit. Her dental software made my problems very understandable and she didn't use terminology i didn't understand. i didn't mind that my blood pressure was taken either (i think that lady is a little too sensitive) overall, i got the most thorough examination i've ever had and now, for the first time, clearly understand what is wrong with my teeth! thank you to nancy stewart & her staff. :)

My Favorite Mouth Person
I began seeing Dr. Stewart almost 4 years ago, and I believe she is the best dentist I've ever encountered. Not only is the quality of her dentistry unmatched, but the genuine caring attitude of a friend and care provider that she always shows is a rarity in today's day and age. Over the past 4 years, I have always felt that I was given the most thorough and detailed exam and analysis by Dr. Stewart and her staff. I have such great respect for her practice, that I regularly refer people to her practice, who ask (or even talk) about dentistry. And I always know that my recommendation was a good one. From the bottom of my heart, and the back of my mouth, I highly recommend using Dr. Nancy Stewart as your dentist and care provider.

Excellent Dental Care
Dr. Stewart has provided dental care to me for over 15 years. She has always been professional, providing excellent oral care, education to maximize oral health, and compassionate care when emergencies have arisen. Her staff shares her passion and commitment to excellent and pleasant service. I have recommended this office to friends, and have many friends who have found Dr. Stewart on their own!

She needs to stop misdiagnosing patients
This dentist needs to stick to dentistry & stop attempting to diagnose patients' blood pressure, especially if she continues to use inaccurate equipment (a wrist blood pressure monitor) & doesn't train her hygenist on the proper use of that equipment. A wrist blood pressure monitor must be held at heart level to get the most accurate reading, according to the manufacturers - the hygenist had my hand down at my waist level when she took the reading. Dr. Stewart said my blood pressure was so high that if I was older or overweight she'd drive me to the hospital across the street, and that I was in danger of having a stroke at any time. Long, traumatic story short: my blood pressure is fine, I had it checked by trained professionals with professional accurate equipment that day and several times after that. I was told by the EMT at the fire station that the wrist monitors are notorious for inaccurate readings and that I was not the first person to come in for a blood presure check due to a false high reading from a wrist monitor. In addition, when I called Dr. Stewart to educate her about the inaccuracies of her blood pressure monitoring equipment and that her hygenist needs to use it properly, she blew me off and said she would stand by her current procedure. It is frightening to know that any medical professional wants to continue a procedure that has a high likelihood of misdiagnosing patients which results in unnecessary anxiety, time, money, and inconvenience.

Our new patient protocol always includes a thorough medical history review and a comprehensive dental examination. All new patients, without exception, have their blood pressure checked, and we routinely monitor the patients with a history of hypertension and offer routine checks to any patient at any time. Our experience has shown that our wrist monitor is fairly accurate. We also have three sizes of blood pressure cuffs to accommodate small, medium and large body types. At any given time blood pressures can be variable, and when an abnormality is detected, it is rechecked with a different blood pressure measuring device, (if the patient allows) and if still abnormal, the patient is advised to seek a medical consultation. An Exceptional Professional
It is with great pleasure that I can recommend Dr. Nancy Stewart as an exceptional, caring and highly qualified dentist. She is my colleague and she is my dentist. As the director of the Atlanta Seattle Study Club / Center for Advanced Dental Study I can attest to her academic and professional qualifications. They are beyond reproach. However what makes Dr. Stewart exceptional are those things that she and her office staff do for their patients that are so often neglected in today's medical environment. She takes the time to listen and tries to truly understand the needs of her patients. She transcends being simply a provider of dental care to becoming a true healer, always looking out for the best interests of those people whom she serves. No small detail is over looked in both the dental and the medical history and all of her patients are screened for such potential dangerous conditions such as hypertension and oral cancer. Often these conditions are not symptomatic but potentially very dangerous. Since we often share mutual patients I have appreciated her discovering these problems and referring them to the appropriate medical specialists for correction, before planned dental treatment has begun. This is the mark of an exceptional doctor, and it has probably saved lives. As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, all of my patients, without exception whom I share with Dr. Stewart's have found her to be an excellent dentist and a wonderful and caring person.
