I was hit almost head-on by a large truck in 2004, causing a painful and permanent injury to my left leg and low back. I was involved in a serious accident, and suffered a traumatic brain injury. For the first time in my life, I could not trust my own judgment. I believe Ken Shigley to be a man of compassion, intelligence and honesty. I believe him to be an extremely capable and accomplished lawyer. Take the time to read his web site. I don’t consider it another form of advertising. To put that much thought and effort into it and to give you so much information allowing you to make you own decisions – that indicates to me a man that cares passionately about both his work and his clients. To chair or participate in the committees and groups that he is part of takes talent, skill and acumen.

I came to Mr. Shigley after the death of a parent in a trucking accident. He was sensitive to my grief. While showing empathy and concern for my situation he capably guided me though the steps of consultation, depositions. etc. He has kept me regularly updated and I know there will be a good outcome because of his dedicated efforts. If anyone would ever have the misfortune to be in a position where they needed a lawyer, I would not hesitate to overwhelmingly recommend Ken Shigley.

After having been hit by an 18 wheeler and suffered a TBI and cervical injury, I hired a lawyer that did not know anything about this condition. Thanks to my friend Michael, he was able to refer me to Ken Shigley and I fired the other lawyer. Mr. Shigley's knowledge, experience and dedication has been the light of my life. I found Mr. Shigley on line. I read his blog and cross checked his links. He not only is well informed but will protect his clients' interests.
He is a man of integrity and knows the law. I have recommended him to two of my friends.

I found Mr. Shigley online after a tractor trailer hit me, and I'm glad I did. He is chairman of the Southeastern Motor Carrier Liability Institute. Atlanta Magazine lists him as a "Superlawyer" and Georgia Trend lists him as a "Legal Elite." He is highly experienced and knows his stuff.

I met Mr. Shigley in May 2005 after I was involved in a serious accident with a tractor trailor. My first impression was that he is extremly knowledgable about my particular circumstances, the law and regulations in the state of Ga. After working with him for 8 months now, my opinion hasn't changed.

His knowledge, his determination to protect me and my family and his concern for my well being goes beyond what I expected.
