great car buying experience
love our prius we purchased from Sandy Springs Toyota. Sales staff was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful during the whole experience. Convenient location. We will definitely return to this dealership when we are ready to purchase another car.

Great Sales Staff
My wife and just recently bought a vehicle from Sandy Springs Toyota and I wanted to recommend them to anyone shopping for a new car. Their superior sales staff is what made us choose this dealership. Our salesperson, Mike and his sales manager, were very nice and honest to deal with. We had some open ended issues following our initial purchase and they followed through with resolution as promised. Go meet these people before making a decision on your next vehicle purchase.

i have been dealing with sandy springs toyota for 15 years eventhough every experience has not been perfect they always do the right thing. i recomend them to all my friends

Good price but a bit of a hassle..
After picking the car and options we wanted, I price shopped at several Toyota dealerships and it turned out that SandySprings beat the best deal by $100. They definitely value quantity over quality, so you can get a great price if you do your homework. They are typical car salesmen once you get there, going back and forth over the trade value, hitting you up for extras like extended warranty & Gap insurance and then making you wait forever to see the Finance guy - even though I submitted my credit app hours earlier.
Overall, I'd say it was a typical car buying experience, with all the stress normally associated, but if you are willing to do some research and make several calls, you can get an outstanding deal. Just don't expect it to be easy..

The worst Toyota dealer
I had the great misfortune to attempt to buy a vehicle at Sandy Springs Toyota. This company is the epitome of slimy car dealers. They lie about everything; their salespeople seemed well trained to do this! They switch salespeople when things seem to be going badly for them and each salesperson seems ruder than the last one. I would NEVER go back even to have a vehicle serviced. If this is how they behave in sales, I could never trust them in service either despite the fact that I live close to this dealership. I purchased the exact vehicle I wanted at Cherokee Toyota who were great to do business with and kept their word on everything they offered. I would strongly recommend any future Toyota purchaser to go to Cherokee Toyota; never shop at Sandy Springs.

STAY AWAY FROM SANDY SPRINGS TOYOTA
I took my 4-Runner to Sandy Springs Toyota and have never felt so disrespected as a 24 year old female!!! They left me waiting as people came in after me were being serviced and I had to go looking for the "Assistant Service Manager"(they all have title) who was helping me....who ironically happens to be a female-the only female employee-who wasnt helping me when I first arrived and they pawned me off on her(thinking I would go along with whatever she said because girl power, right?!)NOT!!!!Then she nonchalantly says"Your valve cover gasket is leaking-$570. Umm, No, I am getting my oil changed and I will go to Cobb Co Toyota closer to my house and where I have a warranty, then she insisted that I get a rental car to get back to work. No!! She didnt listen to me, walked away and that was last I saw of her. Also, never told me what they ended up doing to my car until I go to the cashier and find the service invoice.The worst customer service EVER!!

Never ever do business here!!!!
Misrepresented the deal! Gave us one price verbally, wrote up another. When I caught it, the finance mangager cut me off, circled what we owed & said "here is the bottom line." A week later, he called back demanding $2000 more! The sales manager, general mangager, and even the owner hounded me for two weeks to bring them the money "or they would take legal action." The owner actually told me he wished I had never walked onto the lot - I was not the sort of person they like to do business with. By the way, we paid in cash! They told me they would not send the title until I brought them the money. I told him I wanted to return the car,get my money back, and purchase elsewhere;however, he refused to give me any money back for my trade (which had been sold!). He said he was entitled to something for all the trouble I had caused his dealership!!!! Treated me like a crook - told me THEY were the victims. They also gave wrong information to Toyota headquarters to keep me from receiving a survey from Toyota about my experience! Will NEVER do business here. Intimidating, insulting, dishonest, and deceitful!!!!!

The Sales Runaround
Great internet sales communications, but in person sales staff played games with premiums and costs of options. Removing one, but adding another fee and trying to gloss over/hide the changes. There are dealerships with Sales staff who are much easier to negotiate with and seem more honest. Doubt I would go back.

Once it is out of warranty, I'll never go back
Sales person was great. Service department sucks. I have had my vehicle in three times under warranty for the same problem. The first time they found nothing, the second time they told me that the software to correct the problem would not be available for 6 months; the third time they found no problem but at 31,000 miles hit me up for front brakes and a transmission fluid change. Blamed the slippage problem on the drive by wire technology. Plus they never reconnected the parking brake so now I have to waste more time and gas taking it back. Of the three service managers I have dealt with two have been B.S. artists. Consumer beware.
