Salon Red and Spa

I was VERY happy going here--the atmosphere is funky and fun, the prices are reasonable, and my cut was exactly what I wanted. Stylist was fun to talk to also. Walked out feeling sexy and happy.

I have been going to Salon Red since I moved in January. I have only seen Matt at the Dekalb Rd location. He is awesome, does a great- cutting edge hair style. Inside is modern. People very pleasant. I would however, like to see them use other products besides Bumble and Bumble- maybe something organic like John Masters or MOP- or just a variety.
Anyway, nice location, great hairdresser!

I have been going to Sarah for years now. She is great with both cuts and color, I don't know what I'd do without her!

I've tried Salon Red on several occasions, using recommendations from others (including my husband, who likes his stylist at the Dekalb Ave location) as well as luck of the draw (at both locations) and have yet to have an experience that warrranted a return visit. It always seems like a good idea, and then it isn't. My hair is curly, so a bit hard to cut and leave looking nice, so your mileage may vary.

I went here because I am new to town and saw the salon while having coffee next door..I thought why not? Now I know why not! My stylist did not listen to me at all and I now have a haircut that I absolutely do not want not to mention that doesn't fit my face. Also, the salon was a very cluttered and the receptionist seemed like she was in a different universe! I will not be going back here again!

It took several bad experiences, but I will not be back. Twice when having my hair colored, someone with no experience at all blew dry my hair. It would have been better to leave with wet hair. The last time I had a haircut, it took an hour. The same stylist colored my roots and left the color on so long I no longer had highlights.

I've never been more pleased with a haircut than I was here. Adriann (spelling?) was such a comfortable stylist to work with. I felt perfectly safe asking what she was doing, and feel like I can recreate what she did!

Does anyone know where Adrianne went? I tried asking the salon and they were very rude and just tried to push me into booking with another stylist. I didn't go to salon red because of the salon, but because of Adriannesomeonw please help me find her. I am desperate!

I badly needed a cut and color, and found Salon Red on Kudzu. I was given an appointment with Sarah Wolfe, and she did a wonderful job!! I had a grown out asymmetrical cut and was worried about what could be done with it. Sarah gave me a great cut that worked with my hair and will look good as I continue growing it out. And the color is beautiful!! Great job and I would recommend her to anybody!!

Since they advertise that they welcome walk-ins, I arrived at Salon Red at 10:00 this morning, when they open for business. The store was empty except for the receptionist who told me no stylist would be available until 12 noon. He said there was a company meeting, so no one was working this morning. Turning away potential customers for 2 hours seems a poor way to run a retail business. They wasted my time. I have a bad impression of this business and the way they view the customer's time and inconvenience.
