Worst service I have ever received
I called on Friday for service. Scheduled install for Monday 12 - 4. Showed up after 6PM & did not have product. Paid for install on Tues. 10-2. Did not show up. Called service finally got an installer at 4:30PM. I think this company is going downhill in service.

Rip-off
While this company was prompt to come to my house I now know it was just to get as much money as possible from me. I trusted them to be competent to repair the garage door and there goal was to provide unnecessary work at an exhorbitent price.
This company is an example of why getting home repairs is stressful and people do not trust service contractors. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone.

Quick response and good job
We've used ODCofA several times for garage repairs and they have always been promopt in getting out to my home and have done a good job. I would recommed them to others.

Prompt Customer Service
Joseph K and Clay F (one the phone) had stellar customer service when fixing my garage door. Their response was prompt and Mr Joseph K provided additional tips on maintaining the door and what to watch for should I suspect a problem. He also explained the pros and con of the different types of garage doors. I've owned 4 different homes and this by far was the best ervice/response ever! Don't hesitate to use this company! It's a rare you find people/business who are good at what they do!

Never showed up to install
On Friday morning I called to get a door opener repaired or replaced. My appointment time was 11-2. At 2:00 I received a call saying they we're running late ok no problem I understand. He came looked at my opener and said it needs to be replaced. I ask how much $400 I guess that was fine since I need one. Then he tells me he doesn't have one with him and will have to come back tomorrow also, I have to pay $59 service call which I didn't know about and 30% of the garage door opener. I thought that was odd since he was just coming back to install tomorrow he wasn't leaving it here with me. I called the office because I didn't want to pay $180 for nothing she said it was their policy to protect themselves in case we change our mind but she would let it go this time. Alright that was fine he told my husband he was coming back tomorrow to install and asked him what time my husband said the earlier the better. We waited all day no phone call and didn't show up. I guess it was a good thing we didn't pay the 30%. This is just a really rude way to do business and I would not recommend this company.
Why say you are going to come out and just not show up and have someone waste their entire Saturday like that.

Outstanding Service
Bought our new door ond opener in Jan 09. The remotes failed to operate in Sep. Called the service department for help. Response was quick for what turned out to be a very complex problem. OHD of ATL worked with us under our warranty until the door and its remotes work properly. Recommed them for their work.

My technician came out and did a great job. He even programmed my two cars for the overhead door buttons.

Overhead Door Company Management is Good
I was not happy originally. I requested online that someone come out to my house to give me a quote on a new replacement door and possibly a door opener if needed.

Someone from OHD came out the very next day (which was great) while my husband was home and CHARGED HIM $59 TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE ON REPLACEMENT without letting us know BEFORE he gave us the quote that he was going to charge us (and it did not tell me this online when I made the request).

Management was quick to rectify the situation once they found out about it and refund our money, however, which I am happy about.

Doors Work Great Now
had this company out to my house to fix 2 doors that were not working right. It took the guy 2 hours and now they work great.

What Warranty!!??
We called this company for a garage door only 3 yrs. old- just didn't "sound" right. The technician was prompt and did over $200 tweaking. We were pleased. A day later, the door started doing this jumping thing [which it had never done] but we decided to wait and see if this continued. Nutshell- less than 3 weeks from original work, it still periodically did this jump thing so we called for service. Another technician came and said the [3 yr. old door] needed more work, and he could not really explain why the previous technician did what he did, but the door needed another $108 work. We paid reluctantly. He said it wasn't covered by warranty on the first visit. We called the company unsatisfied by these events. We were blown off! I
had high expectations for this company considering all their ads and awards. We will NEVER use again or recommend them.
