SweetLeaf Landscape and it's owner Zach Duff hands down create the most beautiful natural gardens in the area. My back yard is a private paradise. Wildlife love it and we enjoy watching the wildlife. You feel like you are away on vacation listening to the water sounds and viewing the natural landscape. Each season brings a new delight. Couldn't recommend them more.

BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION, they low-balled our neighborhood to get the business with a "group rate." They promised items and did not deliver. The service in the beginning was good. Once they learned that people were not going to accept their overpriced bids for additional work, they violated the terms of their own contract. The contract stated no more than a 1.5% annual rate increase. They went from $100 to $125 and then over $200 a month. The owner lied to my face and made very little effort to meet me face to face and was next to impossible to contact. They pruned a 5'6" bush to 4" saying it was browning. It will take 2-3 years to get it back. They promised to remove debris from my property for free during the initial tour of my property to get my business. They never touched the debris. They took 10 weeks to get me a $60,000 estimate drawn in pencil with no detailed invoice. The owner wanted to see my "knee-jerk reaction." Really? My reaction was thanks, but no thanks. Please do yourself a favor and seriously consider this firm. They are overpriced and appear to only want large installs. Good luck trying to speak English to their crew! I would strongly recommend you not use them. They have lost several people in our neighborhood. It took our new landscaper, Champion Yard Service, several weeks and several thousand dollars to get our yard back. Thank God we made that decision.

My title really sums up the the landscape project in my yard and the experience of dealing with the SweetLeaf crew and owner. Very cool guys to work with and excellent creative ideas. A pleasure!

SweetLeaf designed and installed a beautiful landscape in my back yard four years ago. I have continued to add to the landscape each year. Everything is beautiful and is growing into the vision the owner of SweetLeaf had for our backyard. They have provided maintenance services since the installation and we consistently receive compliments on the yard. Highly recommend!

I have been a client of SweetLeaf's for several years now. The landscape they designed and installed for me is beautiful. The owner truly has a gift for design. My pond is crystal clear and requires little maintenance. Their lawn maintenance service is superior to any I had before. Nice, courteous employees - they seem to love the work they do.

Their customer service beyond poor. I paid them to provide maintenance to my yard. My grass is mostly dead due to some disease. There are weeds everywhere. To save money, the quit providing the chemical service, but never informed me of that.

I am surprised that in today's economic environment, that a company does not recognize the value of its customers and prospective customers. My encounter with this company was extremely negative. When I raised concerns regarding the scope of landscaping services, the owners/representatives of the company did not take any time to understand my concerns. Landscaping obviously requires skilled knowledge of horticulture mixed with obtaining clear direction from the homeowner in terms of the services desired for the property. I was surprised that the owners/representatives of the company did not respond to me via phone, but yet chose to proceed via email. The tone of the email was short and rather nonresponsive to the issue. Ultimately, the company decided not to work through the issues in a professional manner. This is not a landscape service that I will ever use or refer to anyone that desires a stress-free business relationship with a trusted, skilled partner. This company does not value its customers or prospective customers and have lost sight of its commitment to delivery of professional services.

I am extremely disappointed at the lack of service and disrespect that I encountered while dealing with this company. The company presented me with a proposal which was 6 pages single space that went beyond the scope of services we discussed. When I presented revisions to the proposal, which were discussed in advance with a representative of SweetLeaf, I later received only an email response as follows: "Not sure this is a client we want Unfortunately we are not going to be able to change the request that were made on the contract that you sent back. Yes it is length and wordy, but we cannot allow for it to be altered to the point that you just decide what you want to do." I was completely amazed that a company does not address customer concerns with their contract and would write an email dialogue so offensive. Given that this was the type of response I received for identifying concerns upfront, I can only imagine how this company actually deals with problems as the service relationship continues. I will never do business with this company.

I just wanted to take a moment to let others know how WONDERFUL all the services I have received from Sweetleaf Landscape Co. over the past three years have been. Out of all the lawn and landscape companies we have tried, your services are far superior ! I am so appreciative of your " one stop shop" abilities and your highly tuned attention to every detail no matter how small my personal job or how big our neighborhood job is that we request of you. I am constantly being complimented on the beauty of my yard, flowers and shrubs. We recommend you to everyone whether it's a neighbor or a business in need and we look forward to many, many years together! Thank you so very much!
