It was a Great Experience.
I went with my friends from North Point church on a Saturday morning. We went in the back kitchen and prepared the meals Then, we delivered the meals that morning on the schedued route. It was my pleasure to help others. I will remember these good feelings and do it again!

Covers Every Base
The great thing about Hand On Atlanta is the variety of volunteer opportunities. I think people are afraid of getting over-committed, which prevents a lot of individuals from volunteering at all. Hands On Atlanta is a well-run, well-organized "one-stop shop". You can find some sort of volunteer effort for every kind of interest and timeframe. So go get involved!!

Look no further for volunteer opportunities
Hands on Atlanta is perfect for the person or group who has the desire to volunteer but needs a little direction. They have a fantastic website which allows you to sort through non-profit organizations in need of volunteers by date, time of day, area of the city or type of interest (such as working with the elderly, children, animals, the environment, etc.). Even if you join HOA, which requires you to attend a introductory meeting, etc. you can get lots of ideas about volunteering in Atlanta from working with them.

Wonderful Organization
Hands On Atlanta is a great organization because there are a variety of volunteer positions available and an individual can volunteer for a day or for a longer period of time. The organization has a monthly newsletter that lists all of the volunteer opportunities by type and date.

Helps you get connected
One of the best things about Hands On Atlanta is the volunteers you meet and the organizations, people, and issues you learn about while volunteering. There are few better ways to get involved and learn about the Atlanta community.

Great for Groups
ACFB is a great place to volunteer, individually or with a group. The new facility is amazing! Very organized and clean. The history of this organization is inspiring and the services it provides seem endless. You'd never expect ACFB to do so much!
