Spa Sydell

This is an overpriced spa with low-class treatments/facility. I got the hydro tub soak and you have to undress in a locker room. There's no private place to undress or re-dress when finished. The private place is a tiny stall where the toilet is where there's hardly any room to remove or put on clothes.

Once I get in the hydro tub room, found some of the towels were dirty. The side of the tub where you get in has the plunger that sits up from the floor of the tub so you step on it.that hurt and actually put a small cut on my foot that I didn't realize was cut until the next day.

I also got a massage, blanket covering table was worn with hole forming. The worst was the massage therapist didn't even touch one of the areas I asked to be focused on. When I questioned, was told she ran out of time.

There are plenty of other nice spas you can treat yourself to, instead of this dump where you feel you've been cheated.

The first time I went to Spa Sydell at the Buckhead location with my friend before her wedding she left crying because the women doing her facial commented on her winkles. A year later I went to the Midtown location to have a spray tan. The first one was good the second was just okay and the third was horrible. My feet were white and the rest of my body tan. My fingers looked like I worked on cars for days afterward. I had it done right before a trip out of town to the beach. My friends laughed at my feet all weekend and I don't blame them. I will not go into details about the bikini wax but it looked like an abstract painting and not a wax. I gave them three chances and they failed. When I called back the women I spoke with was rude and said all she could do was give me 15% off then basically hung up on me. I do not recommend this place along with many others. Listen to us all and go somewhere else.

I just found a spa in Peachtree Battle Shopping Center that BLEW ME AWAY!!!
They had better massage and brow then you all! Facials were about even! (but then again I loved my facialist there)

I have been a couple times and had bad experiences every time. I have friends that like it though. I'm not a fan though. Better options in Buckhead.

I have been to Spa Sydell a couple of times for a massage to pamper myself on my birthday. Both were great. The masseuse was easy on my bad back and left me feeling wonderful. My only complaint is the price is a little high but if you want to spurge, the feeling is worth it.

I purchased a gift certificate for my wife for 1/2 day for $170.00. After seeing that a charge of $270.00 was charged to my credit card, I contacted management and after numerous phone calls and dealing with incredibly rude people, I finally was able to get a full refund. Afterwards, I requested and received a copy of the original signed receipt from the credit card company. The receipt had a $100.00 tip added to it after I had signed it; even written through a line and the total was changed! These people are thieves!!!

I love visiting spas and getting treatments. When I moved to ATL, everyone suggested Spa Sydell, so I thought they would be great. They are more of a factory line than spa, just want to sell you product, and always in a rush. Go somewhere else and get better service for a better price!

I was not impressed with Spa Sydell. They give you low rate service for high prices. I recommend a smaller more intimate spa for massages, facials etc. The manager was very rude as well.

i received a gift certificate from spa sydell for christmas. i made a appiontment to get a manicure and pedicure and i can honestly say it was the most disgusting experience i have ever had. the lady who was doing my service was sick and was not sanitary at all. she kept coughing and sneezing all over the place and wouldnt even excuse her self. on the way out when i was checking out the girls at the front desk didn't even smile and were very unpleasant. i can honestly say that i will never visit that spa again.

I was looking forward to FINALLY using 3 old spa gift certificates that I had recieved as gifts for my upcoming 30th birthday, but was informed that could not redeem them because they are over 2 years old. That's over $400 of my friends' and families' hard earned money that they flat out STOLE. I am a VERY busy person and unfortunately haven't had time to take off a whole day to spend at the spa until now. I looked forward to a nice relaxing day at the spa for my 30th, but now I have to inform my friends and family that all their generousity went to waste. Money is money these gift certificates should not expire. I realize prices may have changed, but I was more than willing to pay the differenece. I will certainly be telling all of my friends and family to never buy me another gift certificate from this corrupt company again, and I warn everyone to avoid this unprofessional business like the plague! They aren't even that great of a spa to begin with.
