I went to Grow after having 3 other haircuts in the last two months. I was so frustrated by my long curly hair and wanted something edgy. For some reason the 90 dollar haircuts and the 30 dollar haircuts all looked the same! So 8 inches of hair later I got referred by a friend to see Rae at Grow. She was great! She actually listened to what I wanted. (instead of talking me out of it like the last stylist I went to did) Then looked at my hair and gave me her recommendations on what she thought needed to happen. And.this is a big plus in my book.She didn't straighten my hair! Being a curly hair girl its frustrating to go to a salon and have them straighten it only to go home and hate my hair after I wash it. I rarely straighten it so it's pointless to show me how cute it looks that way. Rae gave me a cute/funky/and practical/ curly/no time to do it in the morning/ hair cut! I now am looking forward to growing out my hair again so I can see what wonders she can do with it. I know I won't have boring long hair this time around. She was also affordable! Go see her curly hair girls!

I had my hair cut and by Dorothy, and I can't say enough wonderful things about the experience. She really listened and took the time to give me a haircut that works with my hair and lifestyle. I could not be happier. I feel gorgeous and adore my hair for the first time in months after a botched cut from an Aveda salon in Woodstock.

I had a bad run in with the Paul Mitchell hair school. My hair was really badly colored and unevenly cut. I went to another salon to get it fixed only to still have bad hair when I left. I was rather traumatized by the experience and waited over three months to go anywhere else. I decided to try Grow and Kris literally worked a miracle on my head. I was happier with my color and cut than I had ever been even from hairdressers I liked in the past. Kris is easy to talk to, listens to his customers and is very talented. On top of this the price was really good. I am way impressed.

I'm fairly new in town and chose Grow based on the Kudzu reviews! I was more than pleased and impressed! :) Rae did an AMAZING job on my hair and was super sweet too! I knew that I wanted to go shorter, but I was unclear on the actual style I wanted. She was SO patient and came up with a trendy, versatile new style for me. I absolutely LOVE it and so do my co-workers! Book an appointment with Rae today you WON'T be disappointed.

I visited the salon after several recommendations from neighbors. Rae did a great job with my color, taking care to match my existing color carefully. She told me how the stylists are trained to work with a client's hair texture, rather than creating a style that requires a lot of daily maintenance. I've already booked my next color/cut.

I had been to another highly rated salon in Decatur, color was okay, but the prices were outrageous! I found Erik at grow. He's an excellent stylist/colorist who actually LISTENS to what you want and need. I get great color and I can actually afford the maintenance!

Despite the great reviews of other salons, this is the only place to go in the Atlanta area! Much better than Key Lime Pie.

I should have noticed the stylist (first time there) was not listening or responding to my questions. I just sat there and he gave me a haircut opposite to what I requested. A followup call got me a young lady who tried to fix my hair but it was really a case of "ah, it'll grow out." I believe there are better salons.
