First let me say that Dr. McKinney and Dr. Dawson are absolutely wonderful. I decided to see all of the OB doctors with my pregnancy. Second, Be prepared for a very long wait. Also, ask about their billing policy up front. They expected me to pay for my delivery 6 months before I was even due- I wasn't even out of my first trimester yet and I found that to be absolutely ridiculous!

I have been going to this place with my second pregnancy, after a couple of my friends recommended. I think their service is very good, so far. i dont have any issues with them. Also the wait time is pretty reasonable.

There is not customer service what so ever at this office from the Drs or the staff They trick their patients into getting expensive treatments that are unapproved by their insurance and then stick the patient with the bill. I have never in my life been to a drs office that treated me like I was at a drive through. I am lucky if I get 5 min with my Dr after waiting over an hour to see them. They messed up my prescriptions. Overall I would not recommend them whatsoever.

I have been a patient at Atlanta Womens Specialists for three years. They are always extremely nice and professional. I have experienced a few long waits, but I think that is common in health care. Overall, I have been very happy with them.

Great as gyn's but not as ob drs. I had my baby prematurely due to severe preclampsia. I have since switched to a different practice. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the condition is hard to diagnose or comes on all of sudden but I certainly had warning signs (ie. knifing pain in the area of my liver..but at the time was told it was just braxton hicks..swelling, etc.). Also as normal post delivery, I was put on several doses of different BP medications. At my post delivery appointments I explained of my feeling nautious and dizzy (signs that maybe I had too much BP medication?, they then asked me what the medication names were and the dosageshouldn't they know this information??? And, when I didn't remember, they told me to bring the bottles with me the at my next weeks visit! I feel that I definitely was a number and due to that did not have the best care.

This has been my doctor for years but they did not discover I was pregnant with twins until my 20 week ultrasound. I am not sure why they feel the need not to perform first trimester ultrasounds but I do not think this this common practice (at least according to my friends). Also, they lost my appointments on more than one occasion. I did not feel completely comfortable with my service here though SOME of the doctors do seem to do a good job. I will not be using them going forward.

I liked the practice in the beginning but, as time went on I hated it. They have ppl in their practice that can't even do their jobs. I had an appt one day for my check up(pregnancy) and was told to come back in 1 week for a repeat ultrasound and when I rtn the person who does scheduling had scheduled me wrong. I went throught so much to get that ultrasound and still was turned away. I tried to speak w/ office mgr and she wouldnt even get on phone. Least to say stay away from this place.I felt like a number not a patient!!

I left the practice when I was 28 weeks pregnant. I was waiting for over an hour for my appointments.
