I took my great-grandmothers 105 year old wardrobe to be refinished. He did an excellent job and made it look like new. On top of the quality of work he offered to deliver the piece for a small fee which was above and beyond. I will definitely use Joseph Bailey in the future. I highly recommend him!

Over the last ten years Joe has worked on several treasured family antiques that I wouldn't trust leaving with anyone else. He recently restored my dining room table which can be seen as the third thumbnail from the bottom, left hand side. Joe can turn a damaged or abused piece of furniture into a lovingly cared for heirloom with just a little character or to look showroom new at the customer's request. Joe's work product is superior and his prices very reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a true artisan in furniture restoration. He also happens to be a really nice guy.

Joe Bailey's customer service is excellent. The first time around, we didn't get the color quite right to match my bed, and he wanted to make sure I loved my piece. So, he painstakingly re-did it for me and it's perfect. My only complaint is that his business is quite busy, and it took a little longer than expected. but my desk was worth the wait. Thank you, Joe! Look forward to working with you again!

I'd taken my grandmother's Lane cedar chest to another so-called furniture "repair" place and they said they couldn't fix it - the legs were severely water damaged and the veneer was pulling off, the lid had several water rings and the inside had deep scratches in it. Figuring I'd get a 2nd opinion, I called Joe and he said he hadn't met a piece of furniture he couldn't make look better! Boy, was he right! My hope chest looks great now - you can't even tell where any of the damage was! Joe's great - takes his time w/ each piece and his prices are reasonable for the amount of time and and workmanship that's required. He is very proud of his work and he should be!

If you’re looking for someone to restore/refinish a precious piece of
furniture, look no further. Joseph is a first class craftsman. I have a secretary that my great-grandfather had made in the 1880’s or ’90’s. It had been sitting in my grandmother’s basement
for years, then it was moved to my father’s attic where it sat for many more years. It looked like a piece of junk, the desk front was broken at the hinges, one of the doors was cracked and the hinges bent, the moldings were all falling off, it had missing veneer, etc, etc, etc. I took it to Joseph on a recommendation from a furniture maker friend of mine. Wow, Joseph delivered the restored piece on Monday and I was thrilled with the results – it’s just gorgeous; I’m sure my children will be fighting over who gets it. Joseph's attention to detail is amazing. Everything was done to keep the historical accuracy of the piece and the results are beautiful.

Puppys and nice wooden chairs don't mix well. Joe restored my chairs back to where it was like the puppys never happened! You can tell by his reviews that he cares about his customers and his work. I'm here to tell you that he is the one to call when good wood has gone bad. You actually can't tell there was ever any damage!

Mr. Bailey kept my piece for over 4 months and when I got it back it had a very cloudy finish and was NOT even close to a smooth finish. To say I am disappointed in his quailty of work would be an understatement. I would NOT recommend this business to anyone.

Joe restored a corner china cabinet for me that had belonged to my mother. His care and attention to detail were above and beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend him for any wood restoration/refinishing project no matter how challenging. It was a pleasure to work with someone who truly loves his craft.

Joe repaired & refinished an old desk and its a work of art. It was in very rough shape and my request was to have an old desk that looked loved and cared for (if I'd wanted new - I would have bought that). Joe did an excellent job. I was very pleased.

Joe refinished a vintage pair of 1974 walnut speakers for me and they look brand new again. Now he is working on another project for me. I highly recommend. A+ work.
