Great Experience
Max is a dog whisperer! After working with him and my 1-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix for a couple of hours, I learned some great techniques for establishing my pack leadership and it's already paying off. My dog suffers from mild separation anxiety, and all of the exercises Max taught us are helping with that as well. Since our initial training I've reached out to Max many times for additional advice and reassurance via phone and email and he is always more than happy to help. It's obvious that Max genuinely cares about the success of his clients and their dogs. I would highly recommend Bark Busters to anyone.

You can teach an old dog new tricks
We have been working with Bob and Judy Padgett training our puppy Suzie. Suzie is a young Terrier mix with loads of energy. Bob and Judy provided excellent direction and tips which allow us to enjoy Suzie even more than we did prior to engaging them. Bob provided us effective training advice and aids and Bob and Judy have always made themselves available to answer any questions or issues that come up. It is obvious that Bob and Judy care very much for the health and well being of your pet and strive to insure a good relationship between pet and owner. This becomes very clear in their training methods and philosophy. We truly enjoy working with them both.

You can teach an old dog new tricks and my dog too
Bob and Judy Padgett have been working with our puppy Suzie since we adopted her. With Bob and Judy's help, Suzie is a joy to have in our family. Much, if not all of the stress of having a puppy is gone, thanks to their work and efforts. They have always been very responsive to any questions or inquires I have had. They have been great to work with.

Oh The Things We Didn't Know...
Bob Padgett has been a great help! Our 4 1/2 yr old lab mix had been controlling us since the beginning and we had no idea! Bob has helped us to regain control of our 'pack' and helped to put us at ease. We had a problem with the dog answering the front door for us, barking at the neighbors as they walked by the backyard, and jumping on people as they came in the house. We have a little work left to do, however my husband and I know how to properly correct our dog now - and the techniques we were taught work! After just two sessions, I feel there is a marked change in our dogs behavior. He is more relaxed and happier. Bob also gave us pointers to help prepare the dog for the arrival of a new baby in the house.

I highly recommend Bark Busters and the Padgetts. They are very professional and are very easy to communicate with via phone or email and very responsive to our concerns.

Best Dog Training In Metro Atlanta
Tom Zebrowitz from Bark Busters has done wonders with our labradoodle. His techniques and guidance have helped create a fun loving, respectful dog that my wife and I cannot get enough of. We would highly recommend him, as well as Bark Busters to everyone with a dog. Thank you Tom for everything.

Worth double the price!
Bob and Judy Padgett have worked with us 3 times with our 2 dogs, Apollo and Helo. Since our first visit we have been able to relax more in our own home. We had trouble with the doorbell-Helo would attack friends that came over, constant barking, digging, pulling on leashes, Apollo's dominance and Helo being extremely scared.
After about a week of practicing Helo barked less and less while Apollo started listening to us instead of doing his own thing. We were shocked at the difference!

Several months later we are able to leave our upstairs doors open without worrying that a dog will be doing something bad. We were also able to replace the torn window screens because Apollo no longer scratches the windows to get inside. Helo is more relaxed and will let friends into our home. We no longer have the bathroom trash cans on top of the toilets to keep the dogs out!

We still have more work for us to get to where we want to be with our dogs, especially sitting and staying for the doorbell and leashes, but these two are what my husband and I practice the least. This training is definitely dependent on what you put into it and worth every penny!

BEST DOG TRAINER IN TOWN
Then: I had resisted for over a year to get outside help, knowing that I could train my dog. Not so. Now: In one lesson my dog is no longer in charge. I have wrestled with my lab for months now, thinking that we would become a team. Instead I have been seen as the "cape" flying along behind him on our morning walks. That was then. Now, after one lesson with Max Alligood I have a new dog.one who listens to me and knows what is expected. Thanks to Max's observations, corrections and teachings we are a new team. If this sounds familiar (I hear this same story from so many) don't wait any longer.as I said, one lesson and "poof" we are now in tandem. Max is magic. It is a week later and my Lab and I are working each day and the results are amazingone lesson and a daily follow througha magnficent investment. Thank you Max!! thank you Bark Busters.

Lucy has been Bark Busted!
Max Alligood worked his magic on our 5 year old terrier mix, Lucy. She's been in tireless obedience/agility training since she was a pup, but never could apply her skills to home life. Now that we have a toddler daughter, things were getting a bit worrisome with the interaction between toddler and dog. Max came in, brought Lucy's skills back to the forefront and helped us help HER to be a good dog. We will always work at making her betterbut he's given us the tools and confidence that we needed. We know that Bark Busters will always be able to help us get back on track as life changes. Thank you Max and Bark Busters!

The Absolute Worst Ever!
Man, this was the worst experience. First of all the lady Pat was mean and evil and cannot connect with dogs. She threw water balloons at my dog yelling "BAH" and he was totally frightene and felt abused. She scared me. She also went to my vet and where they asked her to train some adoptions dogs. She brouht them back and said they weren't trainable and to put them down. They were stunned and the office staff not only trained the dogs; but they were adopted out. Please DO NOT use this company they are abusive!!!

This is an angry, abusive, and false review.
Pat has retired from Bark Busters and she has not trained any dogs for over a month. However, over the last five years she has successfully worked with hundreds of dog owners.

No Bark Busters trainer has ever taken a dog from a veterinarian, or owner, to train the dog. We have never told a veterinarian or dog owner that a dog was "not trainable and to put them down.” In many cases we are a dog's last hope, and have been contacted when others have given up. It is unfortunate that someone can post something on the Internet that is so far from the truth.

We work exclusively with the dog owner in the home. We teach owners how to use non-physical, non-abusive, natural methods to gain their dog's respect, and to help them establish leadership.

If at any time this dog owner was uncomfortable with any of the training, all he had to do was stop the lesson.

All of the Atlanta Bark Busters trainers are troubled by this review, and would be more than happy to provide additional assistance to this individual. If the author will contact us, we will do whatever is needed to remedy the situation.

Dedicated Dog Training
My husband and I would definitely recommend Peggy and Kyle McNulty for Bark Busters home dog training. We never thought our one year old dog, Maya, would listen to us. Within the first couple of minutes of the first lesson she was showing signs of improvement. We really liked their dog training techniques. They give you affordable lifetime home dog training and were very accommodating with our busy schedule.
