Piedmont Pediatrics (Laura Harris, MD)

We see Dr. Roe here and just love him! Professional, very smart, personable, and caring. Many of my friends use this practice and we all agree that seeing any of the doctors is a good thing if you can't get in with your favorite. Recently remodeled and beautiful. I have 3 kids and tend to be there quite a bit. I will never change!! Love them!!!

We moved to Atlanta a few years ago. While we loved our previous pediatrician, it would have been a 1 asnd 1/2 hour drive. I literally picked this place off of my insurance company's website because it was very close to home and work.

My daughter started seeing her a year ago when she was 13. She was uncomfortable because there were little kids running around everywhere. However, what a blessing that we were lucky enough to get Dr. Harris. Her kids may be young but she relates so well to teens. Also, her nurse (I cannot remember her name) is AMAZING. She remembers my daughter when we come in whether it has been weeks or months since we had been in. Dr. Harris spent 20+ minutes talking to my daughter about depression, hormones, nutrition, heavy periods, etc. She then called me specifically regarding abnormal labwork. She is engaging, very intelligent and very accepting. I plan to take my son there if/when he gets sick. Their practice is awesome. To avoid the crow try to get a first appointment right around 9 am, that is what we always do.

The doctors are all young and most of them have young children themselves. They are all great doctors and very compassionate with new moms who are nervous nellies. The only drawback is that you sometimes have a to wait a while, but I think that is the same everywhere.

My five month old daughter sees Dr. Koenig regularly, and has seen two of the other doctors in the practice. All have been very warm and nice, always taking the time to answer any questions and offer support.

The desk is always busy, so be patient when calling, but they are well worth the wait on the phone. I wouldn't go anywhere else, even though we've moved out to the suburbs. We're staying with Dr. Koenig!

We see Dr. Elliot who is new to the practice. He is super nice and has small children so he knows what it's like to be a parent to a toddler. He always is patient and has time to answer all questions no matter how silly!

My only problem is that the office is very busy and sometimes it can be hard to get through on the phone. But the staff is always very nice.

Our son has been seeing Dr. Harris since birth and we have only wonderful things to say. Dr. Harris is caring and compassinate. She has 2 children herself and gives advice as both a mother and a physician. The office is old and crowed, though. And the billing department is horrible, but that's not Dr. Harris' fault!

We are completely satisfied with Dr. Harris. She takes great care of our 2 girls and is always up-beat, professional and thoughtful. It is obvious she cares about our family.

We saw Dr. Laura Harris one day because our regular pediatrician, Dr. Koenig was either busy or out of the office. anyway, Dr. Harris was so sweet with our little boy and with us, and called in another doctor to take a look at my son's rash to make sure she had diagnosed it correctly. It was so nice dealing with a doctor who is real, and not arrogant and just thinks their view or diagnosis is it. She is open, thorough, kind and understands children. She was pregnant with her 2nd when we saw her.

having her there along side our regular doctor, just gives me more confidence in the entire practice. Piedmont Pediatrics is Great.

we have seen other doctors there too and they all have wonderful bedside manners, and are smart and thorough and always show sincere concern.

We love them!

Laura has many credentials including graduating with honors from both Princeton and Emory Medical School. She is a mother of two young children so she understands the health concerns of parents and takes pride in the care she gives to each of her patients, treating each as if they were her own. She is down to earth, energetic, friendly, compassionate and her response time is impeccable. We have been very pleased with Dr. Harris and look forward in having her care for our children in the years to come.

Dr. Koenig cares for my children as if they were her own. She was born to be a pediatrician and every visit, whether sick or well, she is always upbeat and knowledgeable. She has patiently answered questions; sometimes the same questions over and over again until I understand. My children love her and have asked to go back to the doctor after leaving her office. This is such a great practice with amazing doctors.
