Untraditionally traditional breakfast.
The food is fresh, healthy, and has lots of twists on the traditional breakfast menu. People have already listed the different items you can get and here's my take on it: Whole Wheat biscuits are an incredible idea! Apple butter: spiced brilliance that you can use on almost anything. Peach cobbler made from a white biscuit with a ladle of canned peaches: eh, fail. Canned peaches on a biscuit doesn't equal cobbler. Other than thatI come here each chance I get with my family for some get-together or another. Great job!

A Great Twist on Breakfast favorites
I absolutely love the Flying Biscuit. The atmosphere is fun, quirky, and friendly (with the exception of grumpy customers waiting for a table during the busy mornings on the weekend times). The daily scramble special is usually my choice along with either a peach oatmeal pancake or a piece of french toast with raspberry puree.

Unique food
Food is great, service is great. Not exactly cheap but they certainly have some very unique dishes. The fried green tomatoes are one of a kind.

Still very good
Although we expected things to change drastically when this restaurant had new management and became part of a chain, it is still really good! Can't beat those biscuits, and even the wheat ones are good! And I don't usually like sausage, but that chicken sausage is still delicious!

Best Breakfast in Atlanta
The Flying Biscuit is a must-go when in Atlanta. It might be overly obvious, but the biscuits are simply the best I've ever had. Be prepared for long lines on the weekends, but the food is worth the wait.

Overpriced, mediocre restaurant. not recommended
The menu was small. We ordered fried green tomatoes for 8 bucks and recieved four, thin slices with seven plates for our guests. They were out of ketchup, lemonade, wheat biscuits, and bacon. They did not have ranch dressing (in fact only one kind of dressing). The table next to us had to reorder their entire selections due to the shortage of food. They seemed poorly prepared for a Sunday afternoon. The "moon dusted potatoes" were indeed dusted with something but we feel they probably ran out of the correct seasoning. The potatoes potatoes were tasteless.

that was awful
I went for the first time to try the biscuits. Got bacon egg and cheese. They put sugar on top of the biscuit. Disgusting. The bread was too heavy. I preffer a light fluffy biscuit.

Neat Dining Experience
If you can imagine this, Flying Biscuit combines the feeling of a southern country kitchen, European cafe, and hippie-granola diner. Excellent food, great service, and good people-watching, in the heart of funky urban Atlanta.

Best Breakfast in Atlanta
It took many years of driving past this restuarant on the weekend, looking at the long lines to figure out that "there's a reason why". NOW I KNOW, the "Southern Scramble" can't be beat! And the biscuit - literally flys off your plate, its sooo good.
