Capturinglight Photography

Amanda came to our Decatur home to take my baby's first photos. She was extremely patient and easy going my entire family was comfortable with her, and we loved having our portraits made in the comfort of our own home. She took her time, allowing breaks for my baby as needed. The final product is amazing. She captured my baby perfectly. We bought a lovely album and a gorgeous statement canvas, along with a ton of gift prints. Just a heads up you can expect to spend at least $1k on everything, but the investment is so worth it. I would not trust my family memories to some random mall studio.

We chose capturing light because we felt that the web photos displayed reflected the type of photos we wanted to have of our family over time. We were looking for our family to be captured in a natural environment, not in a stuffy studio. Amanda is compassionate and thoughtful in her photos and displays it very well in the pictures she presents to you. I can't wait to work with her again.
