RUDE, DISMISSIVE AND JUDGMENTAL
I went to Dr. Wadsworth's office because I was new to Atlanta and it is very close to my home. I made an afternoon appointment for an annual exam, and had to fast all day because of blood work. I was about to leave work to go to the appointment, and I received a call from the nurse that it had to be rescheduled because of a family emergency (unfortunately I had fasted for nothing). When I finally went in, the nurse was very kind and helpful. As soon as I met Dr. Wadsworth, I found her to be brusque, rude, and very rough in her gyn exam. I thought that maybe she was in a hurry since she had to make up missed appointments due to the family emergency. When she asked me about medications I had been taking, she was extremely judgmental about my SSRI for depression, and promptly gave me a letter explaining her views on prescribing depression medication... she doesn't. When I asked her if she could recommend a psychiatrist, she off-handedly said she had some friends that she could recommend, but that they did not accept insurance. At this point, I felt judged, I was sore from my exam, and I felt emotionally vulnerable. I paid my copay and rushed out of the office in tears. I could not believe her harshness and lack of understanding! I would never recommend her to anyone. I can't believe that others have had similar experiences because I was sure that it was just me.

Not a Good Doctor!
When I first went to Dr. Wadsworth I was surprised by her extremely brusque bedside manner. I decided to give her the benefit of the doubt, thinking maybe she was having a bad day, but on the two occasions I have seen her since then she has been just as rude and uncaring as she could be. Not only is she not very nice, but she is really lacking in thorough patient care, rushing me out the door after making me wait for an hour. I would definitely look elsewhere for a doctor - I know I will be!

Worst Doctor Ever--A total scam artist
I went to see "Dr." Wadsworth today. It was the worst doctor experience of my life. She was dressed inappropriately, made me wait an hour and a half and didn't even ask me about the reason I came in. She did not treat me for my medical problems in any way. I have called my insurance company to demand they do not pay her. I also went because of her close proximity to my home but agree with the other posters--she is an embarrassment to my neighborhood. She should not be practicing medicine. She is doing entirely more harm than good. She treated me with disrespect, irritation and no interest in who I am or what medical needs I have.

Best PCP I have had
I disagree with the other listings. I've been seeing Dr. Wadsworth for about 8 years. I've found her to be the best PCP I have had. Unlike other doctors, I have not felt like I was being given happy pills and forced out the door. I also feel that she's willing to listen to my input in my healthcare needs, instead of giving me a "I'm the doctor so I know what's best for you" approach.

Not a good doctor if you are a man
I chose Wadsworth entirely because of her location. I went in for a physical as my first visit. I am 37 and had not had one in 7 years. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Not only did I have to wait for two hours, but she inflicted so much pain on me when she checked for testicular cancer that I was sore for two days afterwards. I found out later that she only wants female patients. I guess this was her way of letting me know

extremely uncaring doctor
I have been seeing Dr. Wadsworth for several years, out of convenience to my home. She has been rude, short, uncaring, and unprofessional on every occasion I have had the misfortune to have to visit her. I have always felt like I was keeping her from something more important. I even asked her poor nurse if she hated me for any particular reason but the nurse said she was just "like that." It's time to find a new GP. Her nurses and office staff are very nice, though.

Rude and Uncaring
I went to Dr. Wadsworth for a routine physical and she acted like I was putting her out tremendously. On my subsequent visits to have blood drawn she was inattentive, rude, disorganized, and defensive when questioned about the course of my treatment. Her holistic and natural approach to medicine would be tolerable if she had even a semblance of compassion or interest in the well-being of her patients. I doubt very seriously that she had even glanced at my chart, let alone recognized me, when she finally decided to allow me an audience in the exam room. I have already set the wheels in motion to change MD's and will make sure EVERYONE I know knows how arrogant and rude she is. She should get a job in a research lab and not interfacing with the genral public. A disgrace to the medical field and the neighborhood.No wonder the Doc that shares the office space with her is moving out. I only wish I had researched her more thoroughly before visiting her.

Rude, insensitive, and unprofessional
Dr. Wadsworth is the worst health care professional I have encountered in my entire life. She was insensitive and belligerent and repeatedly accused me of "wasting her time" with my ailment, which is actually quite painful. She was so rude I actually got up and walked out in the middle of my examination, even though I never received treatment and had to miss work for the appointment. There's no reason for anyone to put up with this kind of behavior from anyone, let alone someone who claims to be a doctor. In addition, both the waiting room and the examination room were dirty, and she was dressed highly inappropriately. She also did not wear a lab coat, scrubs, or a name tag. The physician's assistant, on the other hand, wore scrubs and was professional and caring: I can only hope she gets another job. As for Dr. Wadsworth, I don't believe she should be practicing medicine. No one should treat patients so insensitively. I complained to my insurance company. Hopefully if enough people complain they will drop her from the approved doctor list. I also complained to Dekalb Medical Center, since her office is part of their medical group. I would suggest anyone who has such a bad experience do the same.

Big Mistake
I have never encountered a doctor like this in my entire life of being treated by doctors. People with attitudes like DOCTOR Wadsworth should choose a different profession. She does not like people, is uncaring, has a terrible attitude and is just down right mean. Her right hand doesn't know what her left hand is doing and she is very unorganized. She keeps her records somewhere else beside the patient's chart and is very obstinate, pig-headed and inflexible. Plese do yourself a favor and stay away. She is a waste of time and money. BEWARE

Terrible experience
I am new to Atlanta and randomly chose Dr. Wadworth as my PCP. What a mistake! Treated me like I was stupid and made me feel like I was wasting her time. I have never met a PCP with a worse bedside manner. I am not sure how she is able to keep ANY patients! I will never return to her again. STAY AWAY!
