Vecoma At The Yellow River

I recently shot a wedding at the fabulous Vecoma! I was totally blown away by the beauty and customer service. The wedding was scheduled to be in the back lawn and had to be moved inside due to recent rain. This decision was literally made with only a couple of hours to go before the wedding and they pulled if off like that had been the plan the whole time. Inside or out Vecoma is a photographers delight. The grounds are breathtaking and the interior is brimming with natural light. You can absolutely NOT go wrong with getting married at VecomaI wish I had.

The Vecoma is such a beautiful place to get married. We have photographed weddings there and they always turn out amazing. The ceremony site is picturesque and the reception space is the perfect size. We highly recommend this venue for weddings or parties, and would love to photograph your event!

I never knew how stressful planning a wedding could possibly be! Actually, to be honest, I personally didn't do much of the planning at all. I give all the credit to my beautiful bride! Anyway, we were scheduled to be married at The Vecoma on the Sunday after the flood of 2009. The venue should have been renamed "The Vecoma Under the Yellow River". I couldn't believe how much water flooded the grounds - we just knew there would be no way for my wife to have the wedding of her dreams outside. On Saturday, the day of the rehearsal, we were really both let down by the fact we would have to be married inside on what was expected to be a beautiful fall day. When we initially arrived on Sunday, the wonderful staff talked to us about possibly doing the wedding on the front lawn of the venue - then retreating back inside for the reception. We briefly talked about it - and within an 20 minutes time they had the place beautifully decorated and set-up. It could not have been better even in the back! They could have just said "too bad" and had us do it inside. They went well above and beyond! Thank you to the staff for making this special day happen the way it did. I had a very happy wife by the nights end. Food was incredible - Caroline, the house photographer, was phenomenal, never stopping the entire night taking photographs of everything and everyone! She definitely cared about her work and the final outcome - house DJ Kirk rocked! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Talk about a stress free wedding!!! My daughter's wedding was held there Nov. 1, 2008. Everything was perfect. The wait staff, bartender and house DJ were all WONDERFUL! I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting the perfect wedding!

I had my wedding at Vecoma this summer and it was WONDERFUL!! The place was beautiful! Must See!It is all inclusive with wedding site and reception. Very Affordable! I highly recommend Vecoma!!

I would recommend Vecoma to anyone. Our wedding was held outdoors, thanks to the beautiful weatherit's a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding. There's a beautiful arbor you can decorate, a river behind, and plenty of nature. We invited about 300 guests and were still able to stay fairly close to our budget. I used the photographer and DJ too (which was great). The food is absolutely delicious and the catering staff there is great as well. There is a lodge with a deck on the back. Vecoma really did make our day special. The wedding planners are especially nice and extremely knowledgeable.

Can accommodate many people with nice setting on the river. There was plenty of room to move about. I have only attended as a guest, but speaking from that aspect, it was marvelous.

I had my wedding at Vecoma at Yellow River this past weekend. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is. Both the owner Judith, and the manager Denise, were extremely competent, kind and helpful. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and our pictures turned out beautifully thanks to the wonderful scenery. The food was fantastic, all the guests raved about it. The servers were prompt and professional. I didn't need to spend a lot on decorations because the reception hall is already so beautiful. When our wedding cake went missing right before the wedding, Denise immediately sent a server to buy a replacement. If you want a truly magical wedding, I would highly recommend Vecoma at Yellow River!!!

Hands down, this place is the absolute BEST! The food was delicious, the setting was great, and the staff was super accommodating. Vecoma will always leave a lasting impression in my beautiful photographs.
