Thai Basil and Sushi Zen

My family and I love Sushi Zen! The Thai and Sushi does not dissapoint! The food always tastes fresh and is reasonably priced.

The service is typically good, but as others have stated, takes a hit when the place gets crowded. This is to be expected.

The restaurant is a bit small, but I think that adds to the ambiance.

I feel fortunate to have this place nearby and always recommend it to friends and family.

We moved from Okinawa Japan and this is the best we've found locally.
Amazingly good for being in a land-locked region.
Eat eat eat.

The freshest sushi around. Karen and Jennifer are the best hostesses and the food is to die for. Try their sushi of the month specials and their $1 Sushi Mondays are a wonderful bargain. Can't sit inorder take away or have it delivered, if you live nearby.

My group was taken care of very well. The quality was fantastic but it did feel the prices were a bit high. The atmosphere was nice and you can not beat this food. Completely great service all around. But your still getting your money' worth for the meal.

Very busy. Prices were fine. Had a very good time. They handled our group well. Good place to eat. I was pleased with the service.

You don't have to drive into Atlanta to get great Thai food. Give this place a try and I know you'll be happy you did.

My first visit here was with a group from my office. Restaurant was very accommodating to a crowd. The decor is beautiful and calming. I forgot was sitting on busy Cobb Parkway. The food was presented beautifully and was very good. Prices were above average. I will be back.

Unfortunately, a small, family-run Japanese restaurant in our previous town probably spoiled it for other decent Asian places. Sushi Zen was okay, but in terms of price and quality, it simply suffered by comparison. Where we could get a mound of fresh grilled chicken, stir fry veggies, a pile of fried rice and ginger dressing salad for about $5.95, this was small chicken pieces mixed in with the fried rice for about $7+ and then add a small bowl of steamed veggies for a dollar more. Then when I asked for some Teriyaki sauce -- always complimentary at our former place -- it showed up as an extra 75 cent charge here. The ginger salad/dressing was very good and comparable. I forget what my wife had; it was similarly adequate, but not outstanding. Wait staff was very nice and attentive. Oh, except for at the end, after being surprised by the add-on for the sauce, it looked like my meal cost $1 more than I remembered from the menu. I asked about it. The waiter went away, then returned to say that sorry, the price had gone up over what the menu said. Not a lot of money, but that seemed tacky. Our sweet & sour ended up leaving a bit more of a sour aftertaste (sorry, all puns intended).

The food is great at this restaurant! The Thai food is very good and they have a great selection, however, I usually get sushi. They have some of the best sushi in town. Also, they have $1 sushi on Mondays. The service is always wonderful and the restaurant is very cozy.
