Do your research first

I'm trying to get a refund from the unused treatments and the office will not respond to my requests. My condition was contraindicated according to the brochure put out by the Spinemed company but Dr Castanet said it was wrong...and told me I would benefit from the treatments.I proceeded. My pain worsened with each treatment, he told me to continue--I did for only 10 out of 20--pain was unbearable.Now he will not reply to my emails. Very disapoointed-and had to pay upfront for all 20 visits-NOT covered by most insurance

Kudzu limits response to 3,000 characters and "times out" after too few minutes. Also, I cannot divulge medical information so reply is limited. This is third time Kudzu has "timed me out" for too lengthy reply. Patient's treatment was not contraindicated but patients often misinterpret medical jargon in reports and brochures. Once a patient gets an erroneous idea in their mind it can germinate and mislead them. This is not a criticism- simply a consequence of a layman's misunderstanding. You can read SpineMED brochure on my website. Treatment is not cafeteria- it is process, not a la carte. Patient should return and persist with process for long term interest. Admittedly, was not comfortable during treatment- this is unusual. Given severity of problem and future prognosis, I strongly urge a return to finish treatment. See our website for many patients' testimonials with worse problems who eventually responded favorably. Sometimes I have to do twice as many treatments for patient to get them better- and do not charge more money. But patients must "meet me half way" and stick with the process. If insurance does not pay, prepayment is done to encourage commitment and compliance with process. This patient is fine person and I sympathize with discomfort during process, but is making a mistake to permit continued degeneration when this process partially REGENERATES discs unlike any other available treatment. Long-term, this is the best treatment for this patient's problem. Actually did 15 treatments not 10 and did get refund. Majority of patients IMPROVE THEIR LIFE and care more about their problem getting better than the insurance issue. Cost is about same as one epidural injection.

I have my life back!

After suffering with 3 herniated discs for several years, and being told there was no option to surgery, I tried Backstrong as a last resort. The entire staff couldn't have been nicer, and after only a few visits, I'm free of pain and living life to the fullest again. THANK YOU!

wow!!!

i have had back problems for about 2 years. i have gone to every doctor known to man. chiro's back specialist, alternative methods, mri's and no one or any method worked until i met dr. castinet. in three sessions with him i was able to sit on the floor with my son and play with him. i drove for 14 hours pain free!!!he was extremely knowledgeable and very committed to his beliefs. all i know is that after 6 doctors, countless visits, money, and pain, dr. castinet helped my back. i am a contractor by trade and am not easy on my body so i'll tell anyone out there who will listen...... go and see this man!!!! his methods and advice are priceless. i would reccommend him to anyone.

Spine Med Disc Decompression Treatment

I was suffering from severe back and leg pain caused by a herniated disc in my lower back. My husband read of the Spine Med treatment offered by Dr. Craig Castinet at the Backstrong Non- Surgical Rehab Clinic, and we went to visit him. He did some preliminary testing and thought I would be a good candidate for the treatment. I could tell my pain was diminishing after the first 4 or 5 treatments. The treatments are not painful at all, and I can say that after 14 treatments I am now pain free. Thank you, Dr. Castinet, for your kind and caring manner.
