Never had a problem
I've brought my dogs and cats here and never had a problem. You always receive a a multiple pet discount and for a while they offered free vet check ups for a pet store (Animal Atlanta) until it recently moved. The pet store does not get its dogs from puppy mills! I think it is wonderful that Dr. Good owns the Homeless Pet Shelter and he has always been kind to me and my pets.

Dr. Good saved me thousands
I drove over 30 miles to Dr. Good on the recommendation of a neighbor to get a second opinion regarding knee surgery for my rottweiler. Dr. Good was amazing, honest, and informative. My regular vet only recommended surgery, which was going to cost $3000-4000. Dr. Good presented me with different options including surgery as well as a wait and see approach and informed me on the pros and cons of each. Dr. Good has not promised that the wait and see approach will definitely prevent the need for surgery, but at least now I am not in a panic of how to come up with $4000 today.

Reasonable charge
I Think the receptionist is not friendly, and the service is very poor. I have to wait at least 45 min after the appoinmwnt time to see doctor. Dr. Good is very good. He examines my dogs carefully. DO NOT get Dr. C. He's the worst.

Not a good vet
I am 35 and have always owned a dog and have never encountered a vet like this one. We have called another vet from the parking lot twice and left because of the bad feelings we got from this place. This weekend we had to put our pet to sleep and were so upset when we arrived at this place that we called a vet we used for other pet to please let us bring Aisha in to have her put to sleep. This is the most non-caring vet I have ever seen, my wife was hysterical and in tears so we made the call to some place else which provided a much more comfortable environment for us to say goodbye to Aisha in. You should not be asked to wait in the waiting room with all other pets and owners for any length of time when you are there to do what we were doing. Awful non-caring vet, they do great work for homeless pet shelter but should shut the clinic down and focus on that. The other time we called another place from the parking lot was the first time we visited for boarding. Place is unclean and provides nothing but gravel parking lot to walk your pet in. my parents suggested the place and all I can say is WOW, I can't beleive that people continue to use t and c.

Money hungry and incompetent
Awful service, incompetent employees, backyard breeders who are supposed to support rescues. No one knows what is going on between the vet office and rescue Dr. Goode founded - Homeless Pet's Foundation. They give pet's to fosters without hesitation, but if a foster want's to adopt they scrutinize the person. How is a home good enough for a while but not for good? Everything about this place is shady, the prices are the most expensive in the area.

Do your research - ask questions - if they are to busy to take time with you you do not want to deal with them. This place has changed for the worst in the last few years!

I havent had a problem
My dogs and one of my cats have been patients of T and C. They have seen Dr. Good, Dr. C and Dr. Jordan. I fond that they are very caring and take the time to answwr any questions that we have. They dont try to push anything and make money like some of the other vets I have been to. I get a multiple pet discount there that a couple of the other vets wont offer. It really helps when you have alot of pets. We will continue to use them because we, along with our pets have never had a bad experience. Thanks for the good work Town And Country.

I'll never go back.
We adopted a dog from Cobb County Animal Shelter. She needed to be fixed so I called a few place to compare cost and services. I clearly stated that SHE needed to be SPAYED and was told that with her certificate they would charge 65.oo and that they would let me know what else she may need. When I dropped her off it went up to 85.00 plus 29.00 for pain meds and another 20.00 for ecollar. When I went to pick her up it was at 286.00. I protested and they came back with 180. I had to fight but after 30 minutes of arguing i paid the 134.00 that agreed to before leaving my dog. Very unproffesional and shady. I will not be going back. I clearly stated that I was on a budget and needed to be informed of additional charges and I confirmed the agreed upon price at least 3 times before leaving my dog. After that they called to say that HER chart said NEUTER and they wanted to confirm the price. I argued with them then too. She was a girl when I dropped her off and confirmed the price and I repeatedly said the word spay!!! Save yourself the trouble and go to a reputable vet. I will be in the future. What a headache!! And they claim to want to help homeless pets. How? By trying to cheat people that are looking for a good vet that's understanding of budgets? I won't even get into the things I saw other people go through while I was there.

Neglectful, Incompassionate puppy mill supporters
My puppy was receiving Parvo treatment under Dr. Good's watch. She went in on Saturday May, 23rd.We asked for a call from the vet to further explain the situation. We received a call saying they started the treatment and a vet would call before close..never happened. Being a holiday weekend we were not able to check on her until office hours on Tuesday. We never heard any information and concidered this a good thing, certain that we would be contacted if her situation worsened. On Tuesday morning we woke up to call as soon as the office opened. It was then we were told our puppy passed on Sunday!!!! NO call, no NOTHING. Since then, we have been tossed around from one office clerk to another, with no answers and would told her attending vet not be able to talk for another week. the vet whos care she was under DR. GOOD was out of town. NO ANSWERS, NO EXPLINAION, NO NOTHING. this vet supports petstores who fund puppy mills! Sure is a funny way to save animals.

Overall One of the Best
Dr. Good has been my parents Vet since we moved to Marietta in 1979. I brought my pets to T & C in the late 1980's until 1992 when I moved away. I moved back to the area in 2004 and tried several Vets closer to my home in Kennesaw but I was not happy with any of them. I returned to Town & Country in Marietta because the level of care my elderly pets received was much higher than the other Vets in my area and the cost was a little more reasonable. I now take my 4 dogs there to see Dr. C or Dr. Good and I would not want to take them anywhere else. My dogs are my children and it is so hard to find someone I trust to handle their health needs. They have always made time to see my babies right away when they are sick and offer helpful, practical advice when they are there for wellness visits. Sometimes the office is a little chaotic but it is usually because they are trying to accommodate the needs of their clients or handle emergencies. The clinic also helps so many animal rescues with veterinary services that are so desperately needed. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who owns a pet.

Responses
This would be a better service if we could respond individually to any complaints. Most seem to have to do with the adoption service, Homeless Pets, which is affiliated with but not run by Town and Country. Record keeping is a problem as the two entities are separate. As to the lady whose dog supposedly had a stroke, strokes are rare. Vestibular disease however is common and often treatable even if the cause is a brain tumor. She was dispensed medications in the hope that what was happening was treatable, which is often the case. It would have been unfair to the dog to not try to make her better which is exactly what was done. The client receiving a bill had absolutely nothing to do with Dr C who is an employee there and does not make any business decisions.
